"The kitchen has a good range of tools and equipment. A popcorn maker was provided with a complimentary packet of popcorn to try (which we did not). Although not in the description I read, there was an air fryer provided which we did try and found useful (we do not have one at home). There was also a coffee maker and there were coffee pods supplied which my wife made full use of! And there was a proper tea pot supplied and backup tea bags were available. "From the time we booked through our entire stay we were taken care of by Liz who made our stay awesome. The house was great in the rural setting we were looking for with a restaurant/pub just down the driveway. If we had any questions she responded quickly and helped us. I would highly recommend staying here and enjoying the historic building. We left after a month and said good bye to a new friend. Blessed!"

Surpassed all expectations

"We were treated like lord and lady in this wonderful country estate by the very warm and welcoming host. The house is full of beautiful furniture and decorations. We had access to a sitting room where the fireplace kept the room warm and comfortable, and we could relax for as long as we liked. The dining room was the site of the breakfasts which were amazing—delicious full Irish breakfasts with plenty of fresh fruits. Our only regret was not staying longer."

Lovely Visit - 11 out of 10!

"We had a serene and relaxing visit at Hillcrest B&B. Noeleen is a wonderful host and gave us wonderful suggestions where to visit and hike in Yeats Country and beyond! Our accommodation was clean and comfortable, and our daily breakfast was complete with farm fresh eggs, pancakes, porridge and pastries. We so enjoyed being part of a working farm, and the views of Lough Arrow were nothing short of stunning, especially at sunset. Thank you again, Noeleen and Kieran for a lovely time, and we will surely be back again for another visit!"
