"Beautiful, clean and spacious property with lovely views of the sea, a private beach, large garden etc. we didn’t use the pool or sauna but they were there. Would have preferred a bigger oven, it’s a microwave/ oven combo, but we managed alright. A lovely spot."

Wonderful views with big windows out and we swam from the back garden at high tide! Kitty was extremely helpful organising a bbq for us and very welcoming. "We absolutely loved our stay at Rusheens, a lovely cottage with privacy and comfort in a most beautiful setting. Dara and Markus were warm and informative hosts, just the best. The town of Kenmare was a sweet surprise, with some great places to eat and see, among them Reenagross Park. Pat and Kay met us on day one, showed us around the house and then gave us some ideas of where to visit on the Beara Peninsula. "Our family of 4 stayed here for 6 nights. The location is perfect. It is in a quiet street with parking out front, only a 10 min walk into the beautiful town of Kenmare where there are multiple dining options. It is a great base to enjoy exploring County Kerry. "If you are looking for a rustic experience with a coastal million dollar view this is the place for you. Would not recommend for people leary of driving on a long, winding, narrow country road or those with certain disabilities as stone steps are steep going up to property. Martin was a friendly host and you even get to feed the chickens near the property."
