"Beautiful view. Water heater was great. We appreciated the communication in English. Well lighted bathrooms. The stepping stones used as stairs are uneven, some wobbly, and no hand rails, which made them very UNSAFE. The home needs a new latch on the gate and a handle on the patio door. The downstairs was dusty and many spider webs. Drapes or blidownstairs"

"The house is beautiful located on top of Lake Lucerne. It has excellent location to have as a station to visit central Switzerland. Stunning views from the house to stay in and enjoy your days too. "It's really at top of the world. The cottage is at the top of Nessalu mountain top. Excellent if you want to spend time in nature. It's difficult to find so contact the owner before you go there. Owner is very friendly and very helpful. She knows only German, but she was really nice to use Google translate to talk. I want to really thank her for that. I think it's good for a group 10-15 people. But it will be amazing for a couple too."

"The house was in a beautiful location overlooking much of Lake Lucerne and the surrounding mountains. It was a luxury stay on 3 levels with a sauna and jacuzzi and well appointed kitchen. Seélisberg is difficult to access so a car is really necessary but very much worth getting 1/2 an hour from Lucerne and using it as a launching point to explore the area on foot, by funicular and ferry. A very enjoyable stay."

Fantastically efficient design and excellent staff

"We stayed here for a night to look around the town. The hotel is well located with an underground ar park and is about 5-10 minutes walk from the old town and lake. Our room was a good size with plenty of power sockets and working USB outlets. It was a no frills room but everything we needed, clean and modern. The shower was excellent and the bed was comfortable. Staff were wonderful and the check in was lovely. There’s also a nice lounge too. Parking was 30CHF for the underground car park but there are cheaper options nearby."

Always a great place to stay

"Glarnerhof has always been a great place to stay and to eat. The restaurant is very busy with locals for lunch and dinner. I had lamb twice that was so mild that I might have thought it was beef. The hotel is undergoing a remodel which will be done soon but I did not encounter too much trouble from that. Staff was nice and some speak excellent English which is nice for those of us who didn't have a chance to learn German. Lots of parking available in the lot next to the train station for 6 francs per day. Temporary parking in front of the hotel next to the park but be fast or you might get a ticket. "
