"We spent a wonderful two nights in Bad Meinburg and thoroughly enjoyed walking in the town and visiting the nearby attractions - Externesteine, Herman's Denkmal, Detmold and Horn. What a beautiful area and quiet spot to relax and take in the countryside."

"Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in Hameln. Das Ferienhaus ist sehr schön mit eigenem Flair. Die Terrasse ist schön, könnte aber etwas sauberer sein. Schadet dem tollen Ambiente. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Der Weserradweg ist in unmittelbarer Nähe, tolle gepflegte Wege und einige Möglichkeiten zur Einkehr. Essen in Hameln und Umgebung teilweise sehr gut. Wir kommen gerne wieder."

"Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Lage ist super, man kann gute Wanderungen unternehmen, die alle recht nah mit dem Auto erreichbar sind. Ein Bäcker und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in der Nähe. Am meisten hat uns die Einrichtung begeistert. Die Küche war super ausgestattet, mit so ziemlich allem, was man zum kochen benötigt. Ich kann es nur weiterempfehlen und komme gerne wieder. "

The Spa (my partner and mother used) was a little tired and some bits were out of order. Breakfast was lovely and all but one staff member were amazing. Parking was easy, it was a great break and looking forward to visit again once the building is completed. "

So much potential but stuck in a time warp.

"This hotel has so much potential unfortunately it wasn’t to the normal standard that a three star German hotel is. The restaurant was open from 6 pm till 8 pm for dinner if you arrive at 7:45 pm it’s too late and that is ridiculous as for breakfasts The cheeses and hams and eggs weren’t replenished so choice was greatly limited. The decor when you get into the hotel is like stepping back into the 1980s or early 90s where you imagine men wearing jackets with the sleeves rolled up it was quite an eye-opener, hence saying , that this hotel has so much potential. I can’t complain about the cleanliness and the room had suitable shower and a comfortable bed and luckily a couple of English television channels but no tea or coffee making Facilities in the room which was very disappointing."

"Very cute hotel with very kind/nice staffs!! Breakfast was tasty. Front desk closes at 9pm, so if you arrive later than that, you need to communicate with hotel how to receive your room key. My room has eaves and felt super tight at the shower, so you may tell tem you need room with high ceiling if you are tall. "
