"Lodges are lovely and very comfortable. The swimming pool and changing rooms need attention. We stayed in February 2025 and 1 of the 2 showers in the women’s changing room was out of order. We have just stayed there again and it’s still out of order. The working shower is clearly getting overused so the drain blocks quickly and you end up standing in a big puddle of water as it won’t drain. Not the cleanest shower, grout etc either "

"Perfect property for 9 adults and 1 dog! Very clean and well stocked kitchen which was large, with an even larger lounge with log burner. More than enough space for us all to get cosy, play games and see the new year in.Location is beautiful but to note, 20-25 mins from the nearest shop. The pier cafe is great for a drink, coffee or food though, and the drive is worth it for the surrounding views of Loch Katrine. A tesco home delivery was easy to organise and recieve at the property.Hosts were...

"The house was gorgeous and very comfortable. We did have to download an app to get a precise location which was unexpected, but easy enough to use. The beds were very comfortable and the location beautiful. If you are looking for a rural retreat in order to explore the beautiful scenery, it's a wonderful choice! Word of warning: careful with the upstairs windows as flies like to congregate on them!"

"Blinkbonnie cottage has been the perfect little base of operations for our day trips into various parts of Scotland. The location is peaceful and out of the way but central enough to get to pretty much anywhere in the highlands in an hour or two by car. "The property was excellent with all the amenities . Provided a really central location to explore activities on the rivers and lochs . At the same time really close to the Courtyard with a walk or paddle to the Ferryman. Overall excellent accommodation which i would book again"

"Lovely house and gardens, plenty of room for a family get together. It was nice that each bedroom had access to an ensuite or bathroom. The pool table was a great addition and kept both big kids and little kids entertained. "Alot better than last time I stayed allot had improved staff are amazing very attentive take good care of there guests buffet needs to offer bit more choice than just fish or chicken but was still lovely bedroom nicely decorated bar man was fantastic overall stay was amazing glad I have it second shot will defo stay here again"

"Lovely venue for family holiday. Gorgeous rooms. Lovely staff. Piccolo restaurant is wonderful. Brasserie food is nice,perhaps menu coud be a bit more varied? Clean. Beds were so comfortable. Quiet at night. Lovely residents lounge. Fun arcades in Glen's Den. Adventure park about 20min walk or hotel train ride away. Adventure passes a little pricey at £15 each for adventure park but if you have wee ones who will play away for hours you can enjoy cuppa on Basecamp. Activity passes £35 but if you only want to do one activity you can't just pay that, so £35 seems a little expensive unless you are going to be doing lots of activities, then it is a great deal. Wonderful oveall. Would recommend. "

Extended our stay

"Excellent. I thought this was too good to be true with the price I paid but I was very wrong. We originally had 2 nights booked but extended to 4 nights which says it all. We travelled with a 1 and 3 year old and they absolutely loved their time here, my 3 year old didn’t want to come home again. The reception staff are lovely and the cottages are well supplied with all you need - washing detergent, dishwasher tablets etc. and also eco friendly. The area is absolutely beautiful and we enjoyed walls every day and watching the sunset by the loch and there are various facilities to keep little ones occupied - we enjoyed our morning pool time. We will definitely be back and hope to be as lucky with the weather next time too. "
