"We enjoyed our week at Cuillin View. The apartment was as described but we did not appreciate how small it was. Our daughter joined us for a few days and it was a squeeze to accommodate us all (with a dog). The dining chairs were fold up to save space but they were uncomfortable and cushions or better chairs would be an improvement. "Peaceful and quiet location for winding down and relaxing in a beautiful clean, cosy, comfortable cottage. We we're blessed with sunshine for the week to enjoy the stunning view's from the croft and plenty to do in the Moidart area, boat hire available at the farm just down the bottom of the road to enjoy a day on Loch Shiel this is a much loved and looked after property by the owner, we wouldn't hesitate to come back again, thanks for a wonderful holiday 😊❤️"

"We stayed in the cottage 24 years ago and loved it. It has not changed much. This is the charm of the place. The cottage is situated in a quiet setting on Loch Sunart and after exploring all day was a nice place to relax and unwind. Our host Charlie was great. We had a water issue and it was handled straight away. I hope to return soon. A week was to short."

"Incredibly beautiful location, very peaceful!! Views of isle of Mull. And everything you need on site, except it's a bit far from provsions, so prepare by stocking up with groceries, petrol and beverages before you get there. "

"Cottage is just perfect with everything you may need including fantastic garden. We had an amazing week exploring the area, been lucky with the weather allowing us to see breathtaking views wherever we went. Seen and heard deer every day, large window in the living area is perfect for wildlife watching. Owners are lovely and very helpful. Extra bonus was an aurora show on the last night of our stay. We will definitely be back. "

"The house is amazing with a huge garden leading to a stoney beach and rocks. Loads of wildlife and close ( with a car) to some other lovely spots. In the garden we had regular visits from deer, foxes, red squirrel, pine martens and badgers. Loads of wild birds. Perfect for adults who want peace and quiet, kids to run about and dog heaven."

"We booked through home and away so was surprised that all communication subsequently came from cottages.com ( who were obviously the property manager) and then discovered that if I had originally booked with them the cottage would have been cheaper- which was annoying . Also disappointed that due to a local land dispute a nearby resident had erected a fence and we were unable to access the Loch near the cottage"

"Ian's lodge proved to be super quaint in a quiet part of Kilchoan and up a slight hill, with a view of the water in the distance. Secluded surroundings making an evening on the porch ideal and private. Nice over hang making sit outs in the rain ideal and atmospheric. Very close to Kilchoan grocery store which also has a petrol station and with Kilchoan Hotel only a 5 minute walk away. So you have all the amenities on your doorstep. Great location for exploring the furthest part of Ardnamurchin...

"Disappointed that the property had an apartment attached to it. We didn’t realise that and thought we would be by ourselves. Fantastic location and the house was great. Garden needs some TLC and there have definitely been dogs staying there before us!"

"The property is a delight. It’s cosy clean and warm. Not many places offer a view of an ancient castle. Richard shows huge interest in how guests recycle. The compost bin meant all our food waste doesn’t go to land fill. It’s our second time staying in Castle Cottage and would not hesitate to recommend this gem of a place to stay. "
