"The host was very warm and welcoming. I felt accommodated and all my questions were answered. The cabin was just right for traveling solo. Was a little put off by the fact of having the fridge and microwave in the bathroom and noticed that the front door didn't seal on one side so the cold air came right through making the room a bit chilly. "This hotel is beautiful, old style Adirondacks with cute rooms and great dining. While it is charming, the bed at least in the room I had was a springboard type of mattress you’d find at a koa camp. For the price to stay there I was shocked with it being one of the most uncomfortable sleeps I’ve gotten at any hotel and I travel a lot. Beds are an important piece to me. "We had a wonderful stay. The property was just as advertised and the hosts provided clear instructions and directions about getting there, where to park, accessing the camp site, etc. We stayed on the overlook site, which had a raised wood platform for the tent and was warmer at night for camping in cold temperatures. Was fun to explore the swimming hole and nearby trails."

"well, we thought it was going to be glamping. It was worse than camping. It stunk it was dirty. The sheets were never changed. There was dirty dishes. The yard wasn’t mowed. It was just terrible. I would never do this again or recommend anyone to do it."

"It was everything that was described. Beautiful cabin and property. Not ideal for hauling a boat or parking one. The shower was cool but so was the water or to hot. But overall a great place and would go back again. There is very little cell service which i liked but was in return hard to communicate with owner's and the tournament staff for the bass tournament we were fishing. "This was a wonderful site that I would love to visit again. The river flowing by was so beautiful. I would like to stay again when we don’t have so much rain. The river was too raging for any swimming. The only downside was there was a bit of a steep walk down to the site from the parking area, but you do have to go downhill to be near a river."

"Our stay there was very nice. The best part about the entire trip is the river. We had three kids ages 9-12 and all had a great time playing in the river. The grounds were very neat while we were there. We were the only people around. It was so amazing not to have anyone around, the only suggestion is a deep thorough cleaning. very strong smell of mildew in cabin, other than that, it was an amazing time "

"Overall the online listing is a very accurate representation of the property. It has a very rustic cabin feel. The pond that you can visit is wonderful and well staffed and taken care of. My only complaint is there was no air conditioning in the apartment and it got very hot."

"DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! The listing is criminally incorrect. There are not two bedrooms, only one. They gave us air mattresses that deflated in less than 30 minutes. There is mold in the bathroom. The view is of other cabins in various stages of decay and actually falling apart. The service was mean and nasty, like they resented being bothered. But the most important thin is the listing is completely WRONG. It is false advertising. DO NOT STAY HERE. YOU WILL REGRET IT!!"
