"This is a great property with the best of both worlds -- quiet getaway plus great restaurants not too far away. I was traveling with a group of 4 couples and we never felt crowded. The dining table sat 8 and was a great place to gather. While there, we also enjoyed the fire pit, balcony and the swing on the dock. "This place has so much potential. The house itself is beautiful. It really needs a good cleaning.. mostly exterior. There are so many spider weds and wasp nest around the porch areas. They definitely have an ant problem on the inside. I figure that issue would have been resolved from the previous guest complaints but its an ongoing issue. "Entrance to this property is difficult to see at night. The house is an antiquity and quite beautiful. A look back into the past. The bed is quite comfortable. Breakfast was very good and hot. The only thing I missed was a hot waffle. The only downside was street noise through the night. It was sparce but noticeable and included train horns as they went through crossings.
