"We spent two nights at this property and enjoyed the location and comfort of this home.The only letdown was bed sheets and bedding which did not smell nice and not felt clean, when i removed blanket from one of single bed, there were hair on bed. Overall host was easy to connect responsive. House had everything."

"If Heyfield has an oasis this is it! What a wonderful property they have at Motel 3858. It's on the edge of town, but there's a nice takeaway Italian place within easy walking distance and other options just a little further down the road in the town centre. We bought a bottle of wine from the bottlo, had a luxurious outdoor bath in our courtyard, then grabbed a takeaway Pizza to enjoy while watching a Netflix movie on the smart TV (using your own Netflix account). A really nice night in as part of a long road trip. Grant was an excellent host and nothing was too much trouble. Motel 3858 was a unique and surprising experience in the "middle of nowhere", or the "middle of everywhere" as the local marketing says. I can't rate it highly enough."
