"Property is beautiful and positioned well for visits along the Wild Atlantic Way. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Note - if you are from the US some of the heating and water terminology will confound you so ask questions of the host. There are instructions but are tricky if you are new to these systems. We had a bit of a delay in receiving texts so it took a bit. Once we had it sorted everything was fine. Absolutely comfy beds and lots of space. There were only three of us so we only used two...

We enjoyed walking the strands with old and new friends, meeting up for lunch dates with Bill’s cousin, visiting other cousins and friends! "Ballydevitt Retreat is a comfortable home away from home in a great location. It is removed from the business of the town but an easy walk to the town Diamond. The home is spacious and comfortable. "I had a lovely time in the ultra modern and extremely comfortable shepherds hut. View amazing from nearly every window. Very helpful hosts so I would highly recommend staying here! "

Fabulously classy hotel

"We were at Harvey's Point for a wedding, and just wish we were there for longer to make full use of the facilities. Great staff, the rooms are GINORMOUS and they have thought of everything! the curtain seperating the main bedroom from the room entrance is a superb idea, meaning when I returned later than my husband, i could get changed, use the bathroom and pack with the lights on, without fear of wakening my Husband! The bathroom is bigger than some other hotel rooms! The views over the lough are spectacular. Staff even realised they'd overcharged us by typing in the wrong digit order to the card machine and approached us to give us a refund.... great service!"
