"Ein sehr schöner und besonderer Ort. Wer die Einsamkeit mag und aushält, ist hier genau richtig. Eine gepflegte Wasservilla , schön eingerichtet ud mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Auch , wenn es einsam ist, kann man von hier aus mit dem Boot die Landschaft erkunden und geniessen. Leeuwarden und Sneek sind nicht weit. Mit dem Boot allerdings doch schon Tagesausflüge. Wir waren jetzt bereits 2x dort und kommen sicherlich gerne wieder."

"Zuerst will ich sagen dass die Besitzerin sehr Freundlich und nett war zu uns. Leider ist die Unterkunft nicht sehr sauber und nicht gepflegt. Die Türen könnten nicht richtig geschlossen werden von Innen und von drausen musste man mit Fuss reinhauen das sie zu gehen. Wir hatten die 4-te "Haus" in der Reihe und die war fast 300 m von WC und Dusche entfernt. Horror wenn man in der Nacht aufs Klo gehen muss, und Spinnen haben bereits überall Netzt gespannt. "Sie waren drei Nächte lang die Familie von 5 Personen. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Haus hat alles, was man braucht. Alles ist sehr sauber und angenehm. Wir genossen die Sauna und den Pool. "Die Räumlichkeiten sind klein.Unangenehme Gerüche in Räume sowie in den Schränken.Betten grenzwertiger Comfort,da Matratzen nicht passend auf das Bett gelegt wurden und dementsprechend immer verrutschen,sodass der schla sehr unschön war.Garten für Kinder keine Wiese nur Kies vorhanden.Parkplatz nicht vor der Tür,so dass auch hier der Einkauf bis zum Bungalow getragen werden muss.Spielplatz war eben so geschlossen.f "

"Het huis is sfeervol ingericht, er zijn warme kleuren gebruikt. Leuke meubels en dat gaf een gezellig gevoel. Uitzicht op de molen van het dorp waar een hotel/restaurant met terras, en een kleine buurtsuper zijn gevestigd. Er is een klein haventje. Een bezoek aan het Ruurd Wiersma museum is een aanrader. Mooi gebied om te fietsen"

"We really enjoyed our stay in the very spacious house. The furnishings are very tasteful and cozy, the beds very comfortable. The communication with the very nice owners was excellent. We would have to come back in summer, the pool and the terrace look very attractive. For fans of large cooking sessions with more than 4 people, the cooking utensils may not be sufficient, but for us everything we needed was there."

"At first, we were taken aback at the un-staffed hospitality concept but we got used to this after we checked in and found it an innovative option. There is always someone present behind the counter during breakfast hours and there are cleaners as well. The hotel has a contemporary, modern feel to it. The seating areas on the ground floor give it a safe and comfortable ambiance, almost like coming home after a day of sightseeing. The staff were well organised and friendly, always helpful. If there was one thing I would suggest, it would be to keep the carpet around the bed area properly vacuumed. Our room faced the street and although it can be noisy when we opened our windows for fresh air, we could also shut the double windows to maintain quiet inside. The hotel is close enough to the center of town and far away enough to avoid any hustle and bustle. Eating places, ATMs, grocery stores are all within walking distance. The Post Grand hotel next door is its parent company so there is also the option of eating at the restaurants there. We thoroughly enjoyed our 14-day stay! "
