"We loved spending our New Years together here at this property. Everything was very nice, especially the hot tub. Great place to relax, and it wasn't a far drive from stores and such. The only complaint we had was the bed was a touch too hard (for her anyways) but this was easily remedied by just folding up some blankets to use as cushions. Recommended to bring some kind of mattress topper if you prefer a softer bed. Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and our hosts! Thanks again, Julien...

"Staying at this property was an amazing experience. The property was adorable with an incredible view of the harbor. The property owners were so welcoming and hospitable. When we return to Halifax we will definitely book with this property owner. "

"The location was good and the kitchen was well stocked in as far as dishes, cutlery, towels,laundry detergent etc The place needs a good cleaning! The chair in the living room needs to be cleaned as it had a bad odor. The downstairs bathroom especially. Lots of missing light bulbs making the place dark. Doors didn’t close properly in the upstairs bathroom and in the bedroom downstairs. The front inside door also didn’t close properly. The downstairs mattresses were terrible and after the second...

"Halifax was a beautiful destination. Lots to see and do. Took car trips up the Atlantic coast and saw quaint fishing villages, and towns that suffered through different maritime disasters. It was nice to have an accommodation that we could use as a hub for all our adventures. Museums were informative and plentiful. All in all we had a wonderful trip. "

"This is a beautiful property! The home comes with everything you need for both short and long term stays. It’s a very unique property and Jim has done an amazing job renovating his place. The stairs were a little difficult for my 91 year old mom but other than that we really loved our stay!"

"I will say that the property setting was amazing, with picturesque views, especially with large windows, you could see the beauty of winter.The check in process was seamless and communication with host was amazing and timely. We were just a bit disappointed that the fireplace was not functional and there were no ping pong table available which were 2 things we were looking forward to. "We had a lovely stay at the Prince George Hotel. The staff were friendly, the rooms were comfortable, and the location was very convenient. We could easily walk to the Halifax Harbourfront and many different restaurants. There were a couple of downfalls - we found old food stuck to the carpet in our room that I had to pick up. There was also no fan in the bathroom. Overall, we recommend the Prince George Hotel."
