"First, we never intended to stay at this property. The original VRBO we had booked canceled last minute, because of flooding in that area. When we arrived, we were very pleased with the cleanliness, and beyond the normal comforts were available, should we need anything. We travel with all of our own blankets, and even pack laundry soap and dishwasher detergents, but had we needed for anything, the host had seen to every detail. "The location was fantastic and the river was beautiful! The house was very quiet and comfortable and we greatly enjoyed the outdoor space. My only complaint was it could have been clearer, I understand it’s Louisiana and we were beside the water so bugs are a given."

"Had a great trip to Natchitoches for our girls weekend. We debated staying in town versus on the river and we’re glad we stayed on the river. The place was beautiful, comfortable and perfect for our trip. We enjoyed the outside area each night, even though it was too hot to use the fire pit. "There was a bandana left in the room, the tub was dirty and the plug would not work to be able to take a bath. The bathroom door wouldn’t close all the way. Also the description when I booked stated that the hotel was newly renovated. It has not been, I inquired at the desk, they will be renovating it soon. "

" We were visiting Natchitoches and needed a "smoking" room which means that our options were limited. After reading some of the reviews, I wasn't sure about staying here but it's location was good so we took a chance. This place is a good economical choice. It isn't fancy but it does have everything needed for a comfortable stay. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, check in was easy. It has some sort of breakfast but we didn't check it out. Plus there are several places to get something to eat within walking distance. The only negatives that we experienced was that the "power" button on the TV remote did not work. All other functions of the remote worked fine. Also there was road construction going on but that wasn't the motel's fault and once you got used to maneuvering through it, it wasn't a problem. "

"The staff was very accommodating. We had arom on the second floor, with no elevator. However we immediately were given a room on the first floor instead. Right by the reception. The motel was clean and quiet with safe surroundings. The breakfast was an ”international breakfast”, but the coffee was good. "
