"Well appointed apartment but on a busy, extremely noisy road. Sleep was constantly interrupted by road noise. Very stuffy rooms as too noisy to open windows for long. A fan would have been useful. Great to have washing machine and dryer. Stools were basic for dining and the single bed very uncomfortable to sit on as a sofa and too close to a huge tv. "

"Nice, Clean, Quiet, Modern Hotel for a stopover in Brest. We were touring around the Brittany Coast, and we stayed here for one night, on our way from Morlaix, en route to Quimper. This hotel has all you would expect from a Mercure. Location-wise, it is a 5 mins drive / 15 mins walk from the city centre, and the start of the cafes (recommend Kafé Kanggui), coffee shops & shopping area that begins on Rue Louis Pasteur and runs up Rue Jean Jaurès. "Great location, clean and well serviced. I didn't pay attention to how many stars (2) when I booked, so was a bit shocked when I learned about it later. This place far exceeded my expectations. Front staff spoke enough English and I spoke enough French that everything was great. I arrived early and they stored by luggage for me. Also, they booked a cab for early early AM pickup for me. This place is a gem!"

"This was a good location. I stayed here with my mom. We found it convenient to walk into downtown from the hotel. I was happy that there was free off street parking. That was the deciding factor me in the end. The front desk provided excellent service. Every question I had, they were gracious and helpful. There are a few cosmetic issues - peeling plaster or paint in the shower in one room and a broken bedside light in the other, but the nice location and parking lot parking mattered WAY...
