"We had a wonderful weekend as a group of 8 friends. Plenty of space and well equipped for our group. We enjoying long walks along the coast and even managed a dip in the sea in January! The house was peaceful with a relaxed chilled-out vibe and the open fire was an added bonus on a cold evening. Communication with Kevin the owner was excellent and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend this house."

"We spent 5 excellent days over Christmas, creating some wonderful memories. This was the second time we stayed here, with the added excitement of families together at Xmas. The house is large so plenty of space for everyone. All beds very comfortable Extensive gardens, and all kinds of outdoor games and outdoor equipment for all ages. Take your microwave as this helps a lot to supplement AGA cooking if you’re not used to cooking on one!"

"My family and I stayed at the French Mill Granary for 3 nights. We really enjoyed it. Our teenage daughter slept in the gypsy caravan which she loved. The garden was fabulous (our dog loved to run and discover various parts) and the swing was a hit. Everyone was very helpful giving us ideas about the places we could visit. "Everything first class. Staff very knowledgeable and helpful. Appreciated our luggage being taken to and from our room. Standard room very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Enjoyed using the coffee machine and appreciated the excellent breakfast tea and china teapot. Lovely biscuits and complimentary gin too. Also liked the chocolates and handwritten postcard for my husband's birthday, a nice gesture. Made full use of the spa facilities the following morning namely the pool, jacuzzi and relaxation room. Would highly recommend a stay here."

Lovely place, good value

"Service was generally very slow. It felt understaffed and disorganised. Prosecco to the room was forgotten, dinner service was very slow, breakfast was disorganised. I paid extra for breakfast but could have just walked in without being checked. The staff struggled to cope with replenishing the food. They didn’t have much chance!"
