Pocono House W/ Outdoor Hottub, Pet Friendly, 2 Canoes, Kayak & Firepit

Lovely Pocono retreat located on a waterway between Larsen and Natalie Lakes within the Big Bass Lake Community (BBLC). Spacious living room with, vaulted ceilings with skylights and stone fireplace. Sleeps 12 comfortably in 6 bedrooms with 3 baths. Our Association will only allow 12 names (example: you can't have 16 names on guest list with some only staying part time). Fully equipped kitchen and dining area. Outside deck with hot tub and gas bbq grill. Fire pit area in back yard. Screened-in porch area. 2 kayaks and 2 canoes available for use. Its a steep path down to the waterway.

Great cottage for a group!
Such an amazing property... great cottage feel, had everything we wanted, plenty of space, lots to do! Really nice to be able to use the community pool as well. Would definitely book it again.

Great get away. Lots of room.
We had a wonderful stay in your beautiful home. Very spacious, with open living space, and plenty of separate space for quiet. Owners thought of so many things to make it convenient and homey. Loved using the canoe with direct access to the lake. Can't wait to come back.

Property was as advertised. Owners were responsive to my questions while we stayed there. Fireplace and hot tub were perfect for a cool fall stay. Enjoyed the spacious deck and wildlife while staying right on the lake.

This is a beautiful house. The location is just the perfect amount of secluded without being in the woods by yourself. And it's huge! It sneakily big, comfortable, rustic... we absolutely loved it.

Son’s Senior Ski Trip
Our family took a ski trip for my son’s senior year. The weather was awful, but we managed to get one day to ski. The house was great. Lots of space and yet cozy. Plenty to do even when we were stuck inside due to rain. The property manager was responsive and helpful. The kitchen has every tool you can think of to cook meals if you wish.

Beautiful Home on a Lake!
Many things to do for kids and teens, as well as a canoe and kayaks - included. Secluded w/much distance from neighboring homes, which were not visible. We had some family problems while there, and received great assistance by the owners, who were friendly and very helpful! They turned a problem into an unqualified success!

We enjoyed our stay. Very quiet and relaxing. Would be a difficult walk to the water on the property if you were elderly. Fishing wasn't great when we were there. Otherwise it's a great property. Owners were very responsive. Make sure to read all they send before you go. The gatehouse where you check in isn't on the same road as the house.

Big and roomy
This place was great for our group of 8 adults. Plenty of rooms and beds and it was great that the dining room sat all of us and the living room fit all of us. It took a long time to heat up the hot tub, but when hot it was great. And the sauna was not mentioned in the listing but it was a great surprise. We did not like having to take the trash to the dumpster, especially since we didn’t realize it until the last day. We were here in the winter, but I bet it would be lovely in the summer.

The perfect home for the whole family!
First and foremost, the host was amazing! Joe was not only incredibly attentive and responded quickly, he provided recommendations for all the family activities we wanted to go too! The house was absolutely beautiful and very clean. We definitely over packed, because the house had everything we could have possibly needed except for food. It was the most magical Christmas weekend, stunning views, beautiful fireplace & firepit. It was just so perfect! Thank you Joe for sharing your home with my family. We will DEFINATELY be booking with you again this year!

Place is really nice and have a rustic look and feel to it
The place is really nice and has a rustic look and feel to it. We used the hot tub, wood stove, and kayak in the lake. We wanted to use outside firepit but ran out of time. There was only 3 couple on our trip so we all ended up taking each floor and each floor has its own bathroom so that was nice not sharing lol. There are 6 rooms so definitely would have accomodated a lot more people than 6. Billiards, foosball and table tennis we used as well. Place needs a chalk for billiards but other than that our stay was great! I do recommend the place and we intend to come back with a bigger group!

Multigenerational stay
The house was spacious and easily met our families needs. We enjoyed the kayaks and canoes and visiting Gouldsboro State Park for swimming. The adults loved the sauna. Visiting the water park and going horseback riding was great too! Joe was extremely helpful navigating us to the gate for check in. Checking in at the gate was easy once we found it. It wasn’t convenient taking the trash to the dumpsters but oh well. The only down spot for us was having to meet family members who were in town at their hotel for dinner. It would have been great to have them over for a big family dinner!

Great weekend! Place needs a facelift
All the pluses : The owner was very responsive when I needed to contact him, kitchen is fully equipped, Weber grill was awesome to bbq, game room was perfect to hang out. Negatives: the rugs are FILTHY, the ceilings and fans had spider webs swinging from them , the toilets are rusted from the water and looks like they haven’t been scrubbed in years, the lights on the deck near the hot tub didn’t work, the fire pit is on a steep hill so you can’t fully sit around it which was disappointing my son is 2 and it was extremely dangerous so if you have smaller kids this place isn’t for you. Even though we had an amazing time this place definitely needs a good scrub down and those rugs steam cleaned!!!

40th Birthday Celebration
We stayed in this property for a weekend to celebrate my husband’s and my 40th birthdays with friends! It was absolutely perfect! The amenities included a spacious hot tub, high quality sauna, kayaks/canoes just a few steps in front of the house and game room. The lay out was well thought out for groups of 12 as the upstairs and downstairs had plenty to offer and plenty of sleeping space. We all enjoyed our stay thoroughly. The price was extremely reasonable and we did save money by opting to bring our own linens. Linens are available to order from the association for an additional cost. Joe, the owner was very friendly and helpful. -Katie

House made a rainy vacation a success!
The entire family had a great time. The accommodations were spacious and perfect for everyone from an infant to a great-grandmother! We were surprised at first that there was no air conditioning, but the fans and beautiful wooded lot made everything very comfortable. Would go back in a heartbeat!

Family vacation

Multi-Family Lake Hideout
Met two other families here for a great, relaxing trip. The weather kept us in every afternoon, but we didn't mind. The teenagers played chess on the screened in porch, the younger kids played hide and seek on three floors, and the adults completed puzzles and cooked food. The rules for the lake were a slight inconvenience, which is why one category is 4 out of 5. Highly recommend!

Spacious cabin with a great property
The property was as described and updates have been made from the pictures (new flooring and furniture). There were 11 of us and we had plenty of room to spread out. The sauna was a bonus and we also enjoyed the hot tub. It was so nice to walk around the neighborhood and see deer roaming around. Loved that we could bring our dogs and also that there was an endless supply of dry firewood. The kitchen had everything we needed. Would love to go back when it wasn't so cold to get use out of the kayaks and canoes.

Cozy home in the Poconos
The owners were very prompt and efficient in providing information about the house and community. We loved the house and property and the amenities of the house. We really enjoyed the fire pit- there was a surplus of wood available, the hot tub was really amazing and the sauna just added to the relaxation. We didn’t use the canoes but it was nice that they were available with lots of life jackets. We had our coffee on the deck and there were so many deer hanging around the property. We loved that. The owners did a follow up as well. We would recommend this property.
