"If you are looking for a place to stay that is not fancy and within a reasonable budget, stay here! The rooms were perfect for two people and while it is a quiet residential area, it is not a far drive to anything on Gozo. Absolutely acceptable!"

"Unacceptable due that two hours before check inn (after full payment was done over a month before) we received that our stay was never confirmed. We requested full refund but till today we received nothing......"

"A fabulous family run hotel with gorgeous views of xlendi. Wonderful pools and breakfast every morning and very easy to walk to town to purchase groceries or go to restaurants. Easy enough to hire a car or cab to get around Gozo but far enough away from the noise that you feel like you can actually relax. "

"Me and my partner had an amazing stay at Dar Ix-Xemx! You can tell the owners care deeply about the space, they also answered any questions we had. We stayed in the cottage which was wonderful, felt like our own space and was very handy to have our private kitchenette however the communal kitchen also has everything you could ever need. "Great stay at Paradise Gardens. The guest house is pretty and very happily situated with amazing views from the balcony. Quiet area but with shops and restaurants within walking distance, right next to a bus stop. Great location if you like walks and hiking in nature. We have met Amanda the manager and she was friendly, helpful and very welcoming."

"Well-equipped ground floor traditional apartment in a pretty pedestrian street close to the sites and restaurants. Edwina is a helpful, attentive host with invaluable local knowledge of things to visit. Thank-you Edwina, we had a great stay."

"Loved the farmhouse and especially the pool and hot tub. In Sept, still warm enough to use the pool. The area is so quiet, you’d think there are no tourists. Simona was very helpful upon checkin and easy to reach during our stay. Upon departure when we could not prebook a cab for 5 am, she did it for us or we would have been stranded. Bus system in Gozo / Malta is great but not available if you must leave early in the morning to catch a flight. Overall the whole trip was awesome. "

"An exceptional property and 5 star service at every level. The spa is a beautiful oasis, all staff went above and beyond in all departments. I arranged for a direct transfer from the airport to the hotel and it was worth every penny after a long journey from Canada. The drivers who work with the hotel are amazing. The breakfast options are fresh and plentiful, and the service was excellent. Gozo is a beautiful island and I highly recommend a stay at the Kempinski. 10/10 will absolutely return. "

Unqualified recommendation

"Amazing stay, and good value in the centre of Victoria. Steps to the old town, citadel, bus transport, restaurants and cafes. Room was modern, comfortable and clean. Soft goods top quality. Every staff member was friendly and greeted us warmly. Front desk very helpful with tourist advice. Breakfast was fabulous with great selection, eggs cooked to order and specialty coffee if you wanted. Public park next door is lovely for a take out lunch. On lower level of the mall (same building) is a small well stocked supermarket for quick bite and snacks. Perfect choice for our short stay in Gozo."

Beautiful stay in Gozo

"Antonio is an excellent host; his place is beautifully decorated, excellently located and has an outstanding view from his terrace or balcony. We booked at the last minute and are so glad we decided to stay in Gozo overnight. The room is comfortable and clean. Can’t say enough good things about our experience here. "

Amazing and fantastic staff and accommodation

"Wonderful hotel and fantastic staff who were happy and cheerful every morning and throughout the day. I don’t know how they managed. Peter was exceptionally pleasant and great to chat to. Breakfast was a la carte and totally amazing - gorgeous food and big quantities. I hope that I will be back within the next year."
