"This was my second time at the hotel. The staff are friendly and the rooms are excellent. If I was to make one complaint, it would be that doors into the rooms are very heavy and are extremely loud when the close. I was woken twice by neighbouring rooms returning. "Nice newish hotel, really busy and still quiet on corridors. Nice bar area, breakfast is very simple with bread and boiled eggs, some yogurt and cereal. Rooms smallish but nice bed and shower. Cleaning staff wonderful. Location is 20 mins from Academy and Manc Uni & museum, 5 mins from O2 Ritz. 2 mins from library etc. decent place (if you don't pay over odds on a Saturday price hike). "

"The welcome from the reception was as friendly and efficient as any I've received in many hundreds of hotel stays 🙂 Security is strong: you have to present your card key to use the lift 👍 Rooms aren't big, but are well laid out, with plenty of space between furnishings to enable easy movement. "It’s one of the best boutique hotels I’ve stayed in. The rooms are comfortable and bed is great. All the facilities are modern and new. Even has a hairdryer and hair straighten in the bathroom. The small details make such a difference. A glass of Prosecco nibbles and cookies and hot chocolate! Then as if that’s not enough they include breakfast delivered to your room on a tray! Amazing !"

Fantastic Stay at Norton Grange Hotel – Highly Rec

"We booked a one-night stay at Norton Grange Hotel while attending a friend’s birthday party nearby and opted for a privilege room at a very reasonable rate. From the moment we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised by the experience. Our stay included access to the leisure facilities and spa, which was a wonderful bonus. The room itself was well-equipped with everything we needed – a fully stocked fridge with soft drinks, a Nespresso machine, and even toiletries like toothbrushes and shavers, in case we had forgotten anything. Breakfast was perfect, with a buffet offering a wide variety of options. We requested poached eggs, which the staff happily prepared fresh for us. The checkout time of 12 PM gave us a little extra time to enjoy the spa before leaving – the perfect way to end our stay. I only wish we had more time to make the most of it, but unfortunately, we had to rush back for my son’s football match. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely return. Highly recommend Norton Grange Hotel for a relaxing and comfortable getaway! "

Best Western Manchester Bury Bolholt Country Park Hotel

Well worth the stay

"My stay was amazing, the staff were friendly and willing to help whenever asked. My daughter is in hospital in North Manchester General so i didnt actually spend much time at the hotel, however breakfast and evening meal consumed, the sea bass and king prawn linguine was amazing tho it did need seasoning, breakfast was ok, though i like my black pudding sliced thicker that way its crispy on the outside but still soft in the middle allowing you to actually taste it. Servers very friendly and polite and took comments back to the chef. My daughter is up here for a while so will be a weekly 3 nightly stop for me"

Great hotel. Ideal for what we required.

"This was the second time we have stayed at this hotel. The first time we visited the East Lancashire Railway, this time we had an event at the AO arena in Manchester. It’s a 7 minute drive into Bury. Park at the metro station and into Manchester. Staff friendly and welcoming. Hotel is modern, the showers are great. The family room is spacious. Plenty of spaces in the car park. We will come back and stay here again. "
