"From arrival until departure the team at the Talbot I found the team to be warm, professional and attuned. Their service appeared effortlessly seamless. The bedroom was spacious and I had a lovely sleep in my super comfy bed, on gorgeous pillows. Breakfast was generous and tasty. The corridors to the bedroom could do with a refresh but other than that the Talbot Hotel was a treat of a stay!"

"The rooms were old and needed major upgrades. The beds were ancient. The stairs up and down, little hallways, and more stairs, throughout the hotel were like a maze. The bartenders and wait staff were excellent and the location was good. But there are much better choices for the amount we paid."

We don't usually go for breakfast when away but as it was included we thought why not?! Breakfast was tasty, good variety of options especially as I'm a vegetarian. The staff set us up a table away from everyone with our baby where there was plenty of space for the pushchair, definite bonus.
