Set in the stunning resort of Puerto de Mogan, Gran Canaria, a short walk from Mogan Port and the Beach, this new 103sq. metre (1109sq. foot) apartment in Ribera del Puerto, Unit 1, boasts 2 large double Bedrooms (one Kingsize bed and two Singles) and two family size Bathrooms, Utility room (with washing machine), a large family terrace (East facing with sunshine from morning through to late afternoon) and a small secluded balcony from the master bedroom. The apartment also comes with a secure car parking space within the garage on the ground floor of the apartment block at no extra charge.

This immaculate apartment has a beautifully furnished, spacious open plan Living / Dining area (incl Smart TV, Global Channels, Netlix, Wifi ), a solid Oak Dining table and a high specification Kitchen including oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer and coffee machine. This contemporary space leads onto a 24sq. metre (250sq. foot) private terrace via full-length sliding glass doors, creating a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor living, whist offering fine views of the resort, valley, and the sea.

Puerto de Mogan boasts one of the world's finest climates, a perfect destination for a winter sunshine getaway or a fun family summer holiday.

Resort description:

Puerto de Mogan is a picturesque resort and fishing village in the municipality of Mogán, set at the mouth of a steep-sided valley on the south-west coast of the island of Gran Canaria. Canals linking the marina to the fishing harbour have led to it being nicknamed "Little Venice" or the "Venice of the Canaries". The beach has a very good reputation and is ideal for couples and families alike. A variety of outstanding restaurants and bars fringe the marina (scene of current Jet2 Holiday TV Advert) and the beach front, allowing you to enjoy the spectacular sunsets thought by many to be the "best in the Canary Islands".

Puerto de Mogan attracts visitors for its beauty and relaxed vibe. Every Friday it is also host to the finest and largest market on the island, spanning from the Avenue to the beach, harbour walls and as far as the lighthouse bar, where you can enjoy a refreshment and splendid views along the coastline. Other visitors to the resort include the likes of A list actors Jason Statham and Demi Moore, as well as Spanish footballer David Silva.

Should you be using a hire car, the white coloured electric garage entrance and internal Car Park (complementary for our guests) is also just before the Pedestrian Crossing on the right hand side. Please ask for further details.

Sport Fishing:

There are plenty of Sport Fishing trips available from Puerto de Mogan harbour just a short walk to the apartment, offering various types of fishing (depending on season) from trolling, deep sea fishing, drifting, and evening fishing. The experienced crews provide the opportunity to catch (and often release) Atlantic Blue Marlin, White Marlin, Spearfish, Big Eye Tuna, Longfin Tuna, Barracuda, Wahoo, Dolphinfish (mahi mahi), Bonito, Snappers, Blue fish and so on...

Glass Bottom Boat Taxi:

There are regular Glass Bottom Boat Taxi's from Mogan Port to various resorts along the South Coast of Gran Canaria, including Anfi del Mar and Puerto Rico. These boats offer a great way to visit parts of the island without the need to hire a car.

From the large terrace privileged right by the sea, the restaurant Amadores Beach Club will surprise you with its creative cuisine, uniquely decorated with comfortable sofas, Moroccan lamps, champagne tower and an exclusive atmosphere where families are welcome.

Anfi Beach Club

Anfi Beach Club is set in mature secluded gardens of palm trees, cacti, waterfalls, exotic plants and flowers. Fringing a stunning white Caribbean beach the Club is always popular with families and never fails to impress.

Scuba Diving:

Scuba diving is available in Puerto de Mogan and also through The "Canary-Diving" centre, just a 10 minute drive from the apartment (contact Jerry O'Connor for pick-up and booking) who offer an introduction to SCUBA course and certification courses from PADI Scuba Diver to PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor as well as snorkelling trips and rentals. Canary Diving Adventure offers a full range of programs to suit all levels.

Yellow Submarine Adventure:

Every spectacle under Puerto de Mogan’s waters is worthy of attention. Its marine life, shipwrecks, and even the divers swimming around are amusing to watch. Unless one knows how to dive, though, these wonders can only be witnessed via the Golden Shark. And, what an awe-inspiring experience it is, diving to depths of 25metres with ease.

Palmitos Park:

Palmitos Park is a 20-hectare botanical garden, aviary and zoo near Maspolomas just 25 min drive from the apartment. Palmitos Park is like a window to the natural wonders of the world that is open under the lovely warming sun at the south of Gran Canaria. This site also offers a wide range of facilities and shows, and will guarantee an unforgettable day out for the whole family. A large amphitheatre looks out over a pool where dolphins will display great agility and intelligence with back-flips that will take the audience’s breath away. The same goes for the parrot shows, plus performances by birds of prey and other exotic birds. It's a great day out for the entire family!

The 18-hole championship golf course at Anfi Tauro Golf opened in 2006 and covers an area in excess of 650,000m². The Arizona style course has been designed by renowned golf course designer Robert von Hagge acclaimed for his challenging and innovative courses. The numerable tees on the course will speed up play and offer players of all levels a challenging and entertaining game.

Salobre Golf - Old Course

Salobre Old (formerly Salobre South) golf course is a beautiful 18-hole course just 20 minutes from Puerto de Mogan. This course has hosted several prestigious tournaments including the 2006 Spanish PGA and the 2001 Spanish Women’s Championship which acts as a testament to its incredible quality.

The designer, Roland Favré (an associate of Trent Jones), made good use of the rolling terrain and natural ravines to create an excellent test of golf that players of all handicappers will be able to appreciate. Holes across the course offer tees of alternating heights, and the course is known for its deceiving wide fairways with small greens. The course is mature beyond its years, and with its excellent design, condition and location, Salobre is sure to be on many golfers' itineraries for years to come.

Salobre Golf - New Course

Salobre New is not comparable with the rest of the courses in the Canary Islands. Its unequalled course has been designed by Ron Kirby to fit into its volcanic rock surroundings, making it a challenge.

Lovely area, great host and very accessible to reach out to. Well appointment apartment with lovely balcony. Very comfortable bed and ceiling fans were very nice to have. A couple of notes the kitchen needs some attention frying pans need to be replaced, some plates were chipped and the drawers and dishes were dirty. This is why we rated cleanliness a 3. An outdoor grill and window dressing for main living room would have made this a 5 star. Good value for money.

Fabulous apartment
We had a lovely stay in this beautiful apartment, with its modern open plan layout which gives it a light and airy feel, all furnishings compliment the modern design, and wow what a spacious balcony complete with sunbeds, table and chairs and a very welcome electric sun canopy. The apartment is exceptionally well equipped with everything you would possibly require in a holiday base. Location is superb, close to the supermarket and 5 mins to the beach and restaurants. Excellent communications from Simon the host and thanks to Marian and Annie for onsite assistance. We hope to return soon.

A great August stay
We really enjoyed our stay! The apartment was wonderfully furnished and equipped. We made great use of the terrace and the electronics shade was much needed in August. Whilst no air conditioning, it wasn’t really needed as the ceiling fan in bedrooms, airflow and sensitive design really were impressive. The location is spot on, 5 mins to the resort centre and beach. Overall a fantastic family break with a super host, great comms and service. Thanks, we will be back.

Our second visit and just as good
This is our second visit to this apartment, its location gives great access to Puerto Morgan's restaurants and beach. The apartment is spacious and clean with lovely views of the hills and sea. The Spar across the road is perfect for supplies with a great bakery and deli counter. A car isn't required as everything is less than 5 minutes walk.

Beautiful apartment in a beautiful place!
The title should sum it up! Couldn't fault any part of our stay in this lovely apartment! As we arrived late at night, Steve made sure we had fresh bread, butter, milk and water for our arrival. He spent a bit of time showing us all we needed to know about the apartment, and the local geography! The door in the rear bedroom helped to keep the place cool, which was just as well, as we couldn't work the ceiling fan without the light being on!!😂. The tv had channels from all over the world, so, getting our daily news fix was great. Lovely large balcony which we sat in every day & night, watching the world go by! Trust me, you wont be disappointed, definitely one we hope to return to in the future! Oh, and thanks for allowing a very late check out too. Thanks Simon. (and Steve) Jon & Karen

Amazing this apartment had the real wow factor.
Wow lovely apartment, superbly decorated. Main bedroom has a Small balcony looking out onto the rocks behind, what a beautiful feature (reminded me of a James Bond movie) Every amenity you would need was there, washing machine down to little tea light burners on the main balcony, beach towels/ beach mats etc. We generally eat out every night. However took advantage of the ambiance and had a thai takeaway on the balcony one evening. Was lovely. It’s Nicely situated 2 minutes to large supermarket & a 4 minute walk to the beach & restaurants. The Agent Annie was close by if we required anything and was quick to respond on a text message that we sent. Will definitely be going back. Thank you Simon for a wonderful & relaxing stay.

Excellent Apartment, Excellent Location, Excellent Hosts!
The apartment is ideally located as a base not only to explore Puerto Mogan but also the rest of the Island. We had a hire car for the whole of our stay and used the secure parking spot beneath the apartment, so finding a parking spot wasn’t anything we needed to worry about. An easy drive straight up and out of Puerto Mogan and onto the GC-1 motorway to get to nearby Puerto Rico, Maspalomas or even further afield to Las Palmas. For meals out or beach trips, it was just a very short 2 minutes walk down the well lit street to the main strip and beach. So far enough to avoid the noise but close enough to not have to think twice about nipping back if you had forgotten anything! Plus a large Spa supermarket is literally across the road from the apartment for those provisions/wine runs! The apartment was clean, spacious, modern, well kitted out and tastefully decorated. There were nice little touches, that made it feel like a “home away home” rather than a generic set of rooms in a hotel apartment. Having the two bathrooms, both complete with showers meant there wasn’t the usual wait for the bathroom. Other nice touches, such as having beach towels, mini beach parasol, beach mats all available for our use. Which apart from the beach towels would normally be single use items brought and discarded per stay, so it was a pleasant surprise they were there. The washing machine also came in handy to freshen up our beach towels and swimming costumes between uses! We all thoroughly enjoyed our much needed holiday and the apartment was a very important part of that. Simon as a host was absolutely wonderful from start to finish and even helped us as our quasi travel guide during our stay. He used his network of local contacts and his own experiences of the Island to give us the inside tip on what the Island had to offer. Including the beautiful spot to watch the sunset on the coastal edge, which was just 5 mins walk from the apartment. A great place to share a pizza and a few cold beers, while watching nature in all its glory! We are especially grateful to Simon and his family, as he was spending time doing this, while he was meant to be enjoying a holiday with his own family! If you want a truly luxurious and relaxing stay and a “true home away from home”, which is ideally located then you’re do well to choose a stay here. We hope to be back to Puerto Mogan one day and when we do, we’ll certainly try and stay here again!

This brand new apartment is in prime location for experiencing all Puerto Mogan has to offer. You've got the beach and restaurants just moments from your front door. Across the street a large supermarket selling a huge range of groceries aimed at expats. We were working remotely from this apartment and the WiFi is good. It's also a really large apartment so you're not contstantly on top of each other. Simon and his team have been an exceptional hosts.

This is an absolutely beautiful property: a large, spacious room filled with light and big modern kitchen, huge balcony, two large bedrooms (one with a Juliet balcony) and two bathrooms. The location was great - it's only a few minutes walk to the shops and the beach. The apartment is also very close to a Spar supermarket, which is the main supermarket there, so this was very handy (it has a great selection of deli meats and fresh veg). We travelled with a baby and Simon, the host, was very accommodating and went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed. He knows lots about the local area and we were so impressed by how conscientious and warm he is. We were met at the property, shown round and told about the area. He also knows people there, which was very helpful. We'd highly recommend this place - guaranteed sunshine and a beautiful setting to enjoy it in. What more can you ask for? Thanks for a great stay Simon, we hope to return one day!

Great location. Super apartment. Mogan is best resort on Gran Canaria. 3 week stay only marred by 2 minor things: given address is wrong (it is 21 not 29) so frantic phone calls when we thought we had been scammed. (apparently SATNAVS can't find 21), Secondly, apartment is not serviced and no spare sheets or pillow cases (there were duvet covers) so could not wash overnight and had to stay in until wash cycle over to hang out to dry. Not a problem if only there for a few days, but for us, on a 3 week stay, it was. But all in all, a great place to stay.

We loved our 10 day stay in the apartment. It's a short walk to the beach, fabulous restaurants and supermarkets. The apartment has lots of small touches that make it very easy to have a relaxing break. Annie the property manager was helpful and friendly. Unless you are exploring the island there is no need for a car, our hire car spent the whole holiday in the garage.

Need to update the TV system
Property is very modern and has everything one needs. Shame there are no windows in the spare bedroom. The TV needs an update so guests can access TV programmes rather than just netflix Very good communication and friendly help available. Thank you

Very nice apartment in very convenient location
Impression is the same as the very accurate description and photos on the web site. Large rooms, large balcony. Just a few minutes flat walk to and from the beach, harbour, restaurants and shops. (Beware some in the resort as it may be a few minutes to the beach but a long climb back!) Very clean, great welcome by Annie and help when the local power failed. Taxi driver both ways didn't know where it was so worth remembering it is over the river from the SPA store which is very convenient for groceries etc. Weather very pleasant in early December. Great time had by us both. Thank you

Lovely winter break
Our first trip to Puerto Mogan and we thoroughly enjoyed. The apartment is very modern and beautifully furnished and extremely well equipped with a very large outside balcony area which enjoyed the sun all day. Prior to our holiday Simon was incredibly friendly and helpful and gave us lots of tips. When we got there Annie was most helpful and again very friendly. The only downside was the continuation of the building work on the outside of the new apartment block which meant it was quite noisy during the day. We presume this will soon be finished and will enhance the outside appearance once completed. Overall we certainly enjoyed and can recommend Simon’s apartment. Roger and Ingrid , East Yorkshire

Stunning apartment in a great location
The apartment is absolutely lovely and exactly as shown in the photos. It's beautifully decorated and has absolutely everything you need during your stay. We made good use of the large balcony and enjoyed watching the world go by below. The large patio doors, together with the door from the bedroom meant that the apartment didn't get too hot and was comfortable for sleeping. The location is great, only minutes away from the beach, shops, restaurants and bars and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Lovely Apartment
Almost impossible to criticise this apartment, It was exactly what we were expecting from the posting, obviously newly built and furnished to a high level, in an excellent position in Puerto Mogan. We had a small hiccup with the contact person changing, but this was my fault not Simon's (I didn't check my e-mails) and the other end of the apartment block is still being built meaning we had to be a little patient each morning to get the builders to move their vehicles to allow us to leave the private garage, but this is obviously only temporary. After that the only other thing I could mention was the lack of curtain or blinds in the main bedroom balcony door, which meant there was no way of stopping the light getting in fist thing in the morning. Both Simon and Annie (local contact) were very responsive and sorted out our one small problem. We had a fantastic time, very relaxing and wouldn't hesitate to book this apartment again the next time we wish to visit Gran Canaria.

Excellent Apartment in a central location
I have just returned from a 5 night stay in Puerto de Mogan. This apartment is brand new and finished to a very high spec . The online pictures are an accurate representation of the property. The furnishings are of a high quality and nice homely touches in respect of the soft furnishings. The property is well equipped for all your needs. The property is immaculately clean. The check in process was efficient and we were met on site on our arrival by Annie who showed us everything we may need to know and remained a contact throughout the stay in country. Very Helpful ! The location of the apartment is perfect for access to a supermarket just across the road. Restaurants and beach less than 10 mins walking distance which was perfect as I have travelled with my elderly mother. The resort itself is very pretty and plenty on offer as well as a good base to get to other locations. The overall booking process with Simon was extremely efficient from start to finish. There had been a power outage in the local neighbourhood during our last day and Simon had indeed made contact to ensure the disruption was minimal and to ensure our needs were catered for. Also supported by Annie on site. For this I once again thank you and acknowledge these matters are indeed out of your control. The taxi firm recommended by Simon was professional and an excellent prompt service. I would normally rent a car but really no requirement here unless you plan to explore further afield. I do have one negative comment and feel it would be remiss of me not to add. The building is still under construction and whilst we were out on most days. It was not as peaceful sat on the balcony mid afternoon on the days we returned early.I know this will not be long term but would have preferred to be aware of this ahead of my travel. Overall a lovely break with great weather !
