Gorgeous views on the lake!!

Great family time

This property was our dream vacation. My family, kids and gran kids, had a wonderful time at the “Shorhaus”. We love boating, fishing and just relaxing. This place had it all. It was comfortable for all and close enough for Granbury activities in town. Well be back!

There were 5 older women on the trip, & we all had plenty of private space & the kitchen had everything we needed. We sat down by the water every day. Would stay here again.

House and stay was great. Host was very responsive to all questions before and during stay. Host let us know on arrival the coffee maker was broke and a new one was delivered that afternoon. Kids loved the lily pad and kayaks. Cove was great for swimming even with a lot of boats on the water Saturday and Sunday. Would definitely stay there again.

Lakeside Fun!

Great property! Great communication, clean, great location on the lake, fire pit , shuffleboard, ping pong and fooseball. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked and all the little details were taken care of! Definitely recommending and will come again!

We were very satisfied with our stay at Shorhaus. It is a beautiful home and piece of property. It has everything you would want in a lake house rental. Especially enjoyed the game room, dock, and grilling area. Great viewing of sunsets at the firepit seating.

Amazing experience

Our daughter got married nearby and we rented this home for our family coming in from 3 different states. It was perfect for us and so beautiful. The back yard looks like a park, so nice and green with big trees, a fire pit, and a dock with kayaks. We brought our boat and enjoyed going to Stumpy’s at the marina for dinner and the sunsets on the boat ride back. The house was very clean and updated nicely. Definitely the nicest place we have ever rented. Communication was also excellent. We will definitely be back!

Shorhaus the place to stay!

It was perfect for our family. The house is very accommodating for all ages and family sizes. You don’t need to bring a thing. Their private dock provided a place for us to tie our boat to and a place for our g’kids to fish off of. Great location on the lake and super place to stay. Fun had by all!!

Shore house stay

This property was perfect for our needs for our son's graduation celebration from Tarleton University in Stephenville. The short distance allowed for us to escape the crowds and retreat to this tranquil spot. There was something for everyone to enjoy! From the kayaks to the ping pong table, cornhole, firepit, the list goes on.....it was perfect! The college kids had a blast, and the family did too! Beautiful property

Thoroughly updated home with a large lot right on the water. Exactly as described. Host is amazing and was very quick and clear with communication and left a very nice surprise for us. We slept 8 comfortably and have absolutely nothing negative to say about our experience. We'll be back!

Wonderful Property!

This is an amazing vacation spot! The house is so cute and has tons of great features for a weekend or vacation stay. The game room is right off of the main living area, all of which over looks the lake. The property is water front and has a great sitting area/fire pit right by the water. The host is incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. We travelled with our toddler, and there was a high chair, which was perfect and a very considerate add. We have only good things to say!! Highly recommend.

Relaxing Weekend by the Lake

I can't say enough nice things about this rental. First off, communication was AMAZING and everything we requested was promptly addressed and taken care of without hesitation. Which I truly appreciate when traveling! We were greeted with a very nice welcome note and gift - thank you! The house is just as pictured and described. We had 6 adults, 1 infant and 3 dogs, and there was plenty of room of everyone to spread out and have their own space to relax, fish, play games or nap. Having two refrigerators was great! Just a few minutes from everything you might need, including downtown restaurants, grocery stores, hospital, etc. Highly suggest you try Pearl Street Station BBQ.
