We arrived early and the one person at the place told us to come back later to check in. We checked in the same person told us he us and that was nice. The flooring was new laminate on top of rotten wood and walking beside the bed in the front there was a nail sticking up (which I stepped on) The floor sank when stepped on. The room was quiet and although there were a few odd things we did tell our friends to book this place when they ride the polar express.

Love this motel. Second visit within a year. The staff are friendly and helpful. The owner will do anything for you to make sure you have a good night. Lovely and clean. Look forward to staying again if we are in the area next year.

They were so nice when we checked in. This is a family run business and they were so helpful when asked about dining. I mentioned something about how hot it was and I was offered a bottle of water immediately. The refrigerator in the room had a real freezer so we could freeze a couple of water bottles for the next day and to keep a bag of ice in it. It is an older proper that is well cared for and kept very clean. A GREAT value for the price.

Clean and comfortable
Was looking for a clean and comfortable room and was not disappointed. A/c worked very good. We drove 18 hrs to get there and forgot about 2 hr time change, so we were very early for check in. He called us when our room was clean and checked us in early. Was very glad this mom and pop motel was good. We recommend them.

Loved the "old route 66" ambience. The room was very clean, no carpeting!!! My 12 year old grandson said it was the BEST motel he ever stayed in even though there was no pool. He especially loved the very nice, friendly owner. Parking would have been difficult for large vehicles regarding backing out.

It was a very good stay. It is a no frills place but the room was clean and comfortable. Great fir an overnight stay amd reasonably priced.
