As you step inside this stunning rental, you'll be greeted with panoramic views of Lake Michigan that are sure to take your breath away. With three levels of decks overlooking the water, you'll have plenty of space to sit back, relax, and soak up the stunning surroundings.

Picture yourself watching the sunset with eagles soaring overhead, sipping on a glass of wine as the colors of the sky blend together in a beautiful display. And with only two homes atop our private 17 acres of dune, you'll feel like you have the entire shoreline to yourself. Share this space with your friends and family and create memories that will last a lifetime.

Dune Top boasts three primary suites, each equipped with king beds and pull-out couches, making it the perfect rental for large groups. With two additional bedrooms, there are five total bedrooms to choose from - four with king beds, one with a queen bed, and five pull-out sofas. There's plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax.

Rumor has it that twice a year, when the weather is just right, you can even see Milwaukee from the top deck of Dune Top. Can you imagine taking in that breathtaking sight with your loved ones by your side?

When the chilly Michigan evenings roll in, make your way to the six-person hot tub overlooking the beautiful Lake Michigan sunsets. It's the perfect spot to unwind and let your worries melt away.

We do not have private beach access, buy we are only a half-mile from public trails and the beach, Dune Top is perfectly situated for exploring the stunning natural beauty of the area. And when you're ready for some dining and shopping, downtown Grand Haven is just four miles away.

Please note that parking at Dune Top is limited to three cars up the private drive with a shared parking area with one other home atop the dune, but there is plenty of additional parking available at the base.

Amazing View
We had a great time. House is huge, clean and really nice. Comfy beds. Sand Firepit was great and hot tub and extra fridge were really nice amenities. There are a lot of steps, but we liked the exercise. We were very close to everything. Perfect 4th of July weekend with 2 families.

Family Getaway
The house was very clean, and the rooms inside were as pictured. The view from the three decks was beautiful and as advertised. It is close to town. The only negative was the parking and the long-shared driveway with the neighboring house. Access from the road was single lane, rutted and not lighted, so difficult to traverse at night. The neighbor did not agree with the parking allotted to this rental so that needs to be addressed by the two parties and not the renters when they arrive.

The view is everything
This property has an amazing view from any location in the home. The home is furnished well, beautifully decorated, and has nice amenities. It was clean, and had our stay been during a different time of year, it would have been perfect. The weather during our stay was in the upper 80’s and humid. The top level of the home was swelteringly hot, especially in the afternoons. The rest of the home wasn’t much better, the thermostat reading 80 degrees on the 2nd floor, and noticeably hotter on the 3rd floor. The air conditioner could not keep up. We were forced to hang out on the 1st floor from late afternoon until sunset or be extremely uncomfortable. There was a decent breeze as you would expect being on the lakeshore but many of the windows and doors were missing screens or were broken so we were unable to open them. It was miserable sleeping conditions, as the ceiling fan switches didn’t work. The fans would only operate on a very low setting which made no difference in cooling the space. Had the air conditioner worked better, our stay would have been perfect. There appeared to have been a bachelorette party there before we arrived and the hot tub was cloudy, low on water and not very hot. It was probably too hot out to use during our stay anyway, but it didn’t look very inviting. The deck is old and the nail heads stick up in spots causing a hazard for bare feet. Overall this is a very nice property that could use a few more updates.

Beautiful view and great home
We had family and friends stay for the weekend while we attended a family wedding. What a wonderful home, location and host. Room for everyone to spread out. The drive up to the property reminds me of some TN roads, but the view is worth it. We even watched two Bald Eagles dance in the sky above Lake Michigan on the sunny morning sun rise.

Everything was absolute perfection! I only wish I could have stayed longer. The view is out of this world, the property owners were so kind and gracious. They even provided a bottle of wine, fresh flowers, and chocolate. Nice touch. Will be back!

Great layout for large group of friends - plenty of room to spread out for a little down time. Kitchen and primary living space is on the third level so be prepared to do a lot of stairs - a little taxing on those who are older or physically limited. Home is dated but the view is fantastic.

Quick Fall Trip
We really enjoyed our stay at this special property! The views were spectacular. The home was comfortable and well appointed and the hot tub and fire pit were wonderful bonuses to enjoy. It was a short trip to dining and shopping, Rosy Mound, and entertainment options. Such a special place to enjoy a cozy stay within wonderful Michigan fall colors!

Over the Top View of Lake Michigan
This home, which comfortably accommodated 4 couples on a golf trip, is perched on top of a sand dune overlooking Lake Michigan. The sunsets were spectacular and the stars at night were incredible. The top floor houses the kitchen and was our main gathering spot. It's close to downtown Grand Haven, which has good restaurants and quaint shops. The hot tub was a bit sandy but the guys didn't seem to mind.

Great for Large Groups!
This VRBO was great for hosting a large group of people. We had four couples +kids and each couple was able to have a king size bedroom (which is very hard to find). The location was great as well - it was very close to the public beach and downtown. The view from the VRBO was also excellent. As far as room for improvement: The stairway carpeting needs to be replaced or deep cleaned. There needs to be a safe set of stairs leading down to the fire pit. Walking down a steep hill on slippery grass is not very safe. The hot tub needed to be deep cleaned. We didn’t use it because the water looked so cloudy. Overall, we would stay here again and rank it a 4 star.

This was a nice property with plenty of room for large families. It’s located very close to shopping and the beach. The only slight downside is the parking situation because there is not enough space for more than 3 cars by the house so others have to park down the dune. Also, kitchen is on third floor so May be an issue for those that can’t handle stairs. Great hosts. We would stay again.

The good: The property has a beautiful view of lake Michigan. The home is very spacious. We had a group of 8 and never felt like we were in each others way. Even at the maximum occupancy of 12 I believe you would feel very comfortable. Great for multiple families or groups as there are several levels and plenty of beds and bathrooms. The location is quiet and secluded. The not so good: The home needs a top to bottom professional cleaning… desperately. The home is dated but functional. The garage disposal does not work and the sink plugs up in the kitchen. Trash bins are at the road which is very inconvenient. We were instructed to park in designated parking spots as the end of the driveway is shared with neighboring home, however, the neighbors do not abide by that and parked behind our vehicles making it nearly impossible to get in or out. Overall i feel the price for the size and location is adequate, however i would gladly pay more for cleanliness, function and a more up to date feel. This house may be perfect for some groups that do not expect the same level of details. Considering the price paid for cleaning of the property after each group i would expect nothing but perfection.

It was an amazing view and close to many recreations and very roomy and the beds are very comfortable . The host is very responsive. A couple of things: to make it even a better experience is we didn’t have enough garbage bags and the garbage can was not near the house, a little inconvenient. Also, A little extra cleaning was needed when we checked in. Hot tub was not in the best shape. And if stepping stones can be added to the hill going down to the fire pit. It was so hard going down and coming back up, Otherwise, it’s great to be away and have a cup of coffee in the morning with the view! Thank you!
