This quality of the property is ok, however the staff isn't interested in providing quality service therefore the stay was challenging. We asked for our room to be serviced and the request was ignored. We asked again the next day and we found the room to be serviced upon our return, but the bed linens were not changed. They seem to think towels, linens, and such are gold as they do not want to provide any additional. They did not provide bath mats so we had to use towels on each side of the shower that kept leaking water onto the floor. There are no glasses in the room and we were told we could not have any. This is just a few of the head-scratching interactions with staff, but oh well. It was our 2nd and last time staying at this property.

Very cool place and very convenient to downtown area. Only thing I missed was that there was no parking provided, so it was an extra $36. Parking is adjacent, just an additional charge.

The room was less than ideal. No carpeting. Small, dark and not welcoming or comfortable. The heat didn’t work. Almost seemed like a dorm room Great location. Staff was friendly. Just disappointed with the room itself

Was relatively easy to park in front with free parking on Sunday. Room was clean, shower was nice, bed was softer than I like but luxurious nonetheless. Great location downtown. Only window in the room looks out on a brick wall so no view, probably the only real disappointment.

I loved it! The front desk attendance were so polite and friendly, and the bartender was so warm and friendly. I’m willing to give any kind of advice or directions to anything. I love the walk ability everywhere. And it’s right in the middle of everything. I will definitely come back.

We had a really good experience over the weekend, however the one thing that would deteer us from staying again is having to pay $46 just for parking in a garage 2 blocks away for less than 24hrs.

I had an4 hour delayed flight and wasn't getting in until 3am. I called the hotel they told me they would be there to let me in. It took a lot stress off the situation. I would ask they give a few more larger towels but the room was clean, warm and grrat view of downtown

Room was a short walk to the Van Andel Arena. Parking in the area is costly (3:30pm to 9:00am = $40). Room had no view out the window - Brick walls on all directions(Left, right and forward) - open at roof. Not a good value for trhe money. The staff were very friendly and helpful (check in, security at night and check out).

We had a strange room layout that wasn’t very conducive to two guests. The lighting wasn’t comfortable nor inviting. The room wasn’t as clean as we’re accustomed to at other hotels - the floors were visibly dirty, the one chair had leftover food in it, there were dusty areas throughout the room. There were no options for parking, the parking garage behind is set up for validation but the hotel didn’t offer any - an additional $30 cost per night. With many other options to stay in the immediate vicinity, I can’t recommend CityFlats to anyone.
