"Excellent cabin located next to a nice river. Easy drives to all of the area sites. Regular morning and evening sightings of wildlife. The cabin had everything we needed and more. Perfect situation for us as a recently retired couple for a weekday getaway (3 nights). Would like to have stayed another couple of nights, maybe next time. Thanks for a great experience."

"This was the perfect weekend getaway for my wife and I. It was quiet, private and intimate. My wife loved the beach access. Only complaint was that you could tell no one had stayed there in a while. We had to wipe down dusty surfaces and kill a lot of very large spiders/webs that should’ve been noticed with a quick cleaning crew walk through. Nothing that’s a huge deal though. We would definitely rebook and refer our friends and family. "

"We enjoyed our stay here. The cottage suit our needs perfectly. Drive to Traverse City wineries and restaurants were 15-25mins. We love the lake view but due to the weather we could not partake in the water activities. We would definitely like to stay again to enjoy the lake."

"We had an exceptional experience. The cabin itself was gorgeous! It was perfectly clean, and all of the furnishings were well maintained. The beds and couch were all very comfy. We loved the big windows and the nice views of the forest behind the cabin. The area itself was very quiet, which I loved. We were lucky enough to experience the northern lights right from the patio and front door of our cabin! The check in and check out process was very easy. "I had seen this property on YouTube and thought it would be cool experience and it was. This was one of the last stops on our Michigan adventure. The weather and the leaves were amazing, what a beautiful piece of property. I guess there are complications getting to this property, but if you follow the owners instructions we had no issues! The kitchen has some equipment for cooking and we had no issues making meals. Very kind host basket as well. Had all the makings of s’mores! "
