"Lovely house for our stay in St Jean De Monts. Lovely peaceful garden to sit in. The owners we delightful and non intrusive. The area was very close to local shops and the main town was not too far away. A great place to stay with plenty of local places of interest to visit."

"We had a great stay in this chalet with a fantastic private pool in an amazing location. The front terrace view of the lake is a real highlight as are the local walks round the lake and beyond. This includes the short walk to the museum, which had free outdoor events for the family while we were there and a good café. With a short walk to a boulangerie, and under an hour to great beaches, the location was perfect. Overall, the chalet really suited us - a couple with an 8 and 10 year old."

I was surprised there was no communication as to what to do with the keys on check out day despite sending a text to the owner. We ended up leaving them in the secure box where we found them on arrival. All in all, a very enjoyable part of our holiday"

And ideally you can park your car inside the gates for safety, I found this very important as I was travelling by car from Ireland and I wanted the car safe. "L'hébergement était parfaitement adapté pour un week-end entre amis. Il est bien rénové et bien équipé. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié les nombreuses chambres et salles de bain qui permettent de ne pas "se marcher dessus". Il faut bien noter toutefois qu'il s'agit de 2 maisons séparées (une de 12 couchages et une de 4 couchages) mais elles sont dans la même cour donc pas de problème.La maison est isolée en pleine campagne donc pas de problème de bruit pour le voisinage. "We visited St Helaire as a first family car trip to France. The travel days were a little stressful but ran so smoothly thanks to French roads being so much easier to drive along than British roads. The apartment was perfect, the views stunning especially at sunset. The sea breeze was cool and refreshing.we don't mind walking but thought that we were a little too far from things to want to walk everywhere. This is the only thing we could find that wasn't perfect and does not mean you can't walk...

Cheap and cheerful overnighter

"The hotel was convenient for the route we were on. The receptionist was friendly. The room was clean and tidy but minimalist. The room was small with bed against the wall so accessible from one side only. The bed itself was comfortable. Being convenient for the route it was also noisy all night if you are a light sleeper ear plugs would help. But it was cheap! "
