Pleasant Cottage in Grandcamp-Maisy, located in a quiet environment, in the heart of the landing beaches, 700 meters from the fishing port, the beach and shops.
Duplex cottage on the ground floor in a typical old renovated house, it can accommodate 8 people.

Good base for touring D Day bases.

As a group of 4 adults, we stayed in the property for 4 nights - used it as a base to visit the many sites and museums dedicated to WW2. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend. The only downsides were the lack of wardrobe hanging space and the need to take extra care on the steep, twisting staircase. Hopefully we will return. Thank you.

Great place!

Wonderful experience! Very clean and a good size gĂźte with a lovely garden. Visited with three generations of family (6ppl) and lots of room for us all. Liked private shower for each bedroom. Easy process, and owner very quick to answer questions. Grandcamp-Maisy is a great seaside vacation village, and good base for all the sites of the area. We came from Canada - sad to leave Normandy, hope to return!

Vie en famille

TrĂšs joli sĂ©jour le long des cĂŽtes normandes malgrĂ© le temps pluvieux et venteux, mais qq jours de soleil sur la fin nous ont rĂ©conciliĂ©s avec la Normandie, l’appartement Ă©tait trĂšs bien, rĂ©cent et bien entretenu.Cet appartement est bien pour 6 personnes, nous Ă©tions 5 adultes, mais on ne se serait pas vu Ă  8 personnes car l’espace avec le BZ dĂ©pliĂ© aurait Ă©tĂ© trĂšs rĂ©duit...Pour nous le seul bĂ©mol Ă©tait l’escalier trĂšs pentu
.mais c’est subjectif car nous avons tous plus de 70 ans ! La vaisselle ,en particulier les verres sont un peu justes (les grands verres Ă  biĂšre Ă©taient encombrants sur la table ). Nous avons eu un petit problĂšme de matĂ©riel, le propriĂ©taire a Ă©tĂ© extrĂȘmement rĂ©actif, nous le remercions beaucoup pour cela.

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefĂŒhlt im Ferienhaus. Wir haben alles so vorgefunden, wie es auf den Bildern aussieht. Das Haus war sehr sauber und alles war vorhanden. Wir sind als 5 köpfige Familie dort gewesen. Es ist der perfekte Ort um abzuschalten. Der Ort ist fußlĂ€ufig in 20 Minuten zu erreichen. Wir waren zur Nebensaison dort, es war sehr ruhig, was wir auch so wollten. Im Ort ist alles vorhanden vom BĂ€cker, Metzger und diverse Restaurants. Es hatten einige Restaurants geschlossen, da es jetzt Nebensaison ist. Aber die die offen hatten können wir nur empfehlen. Überall wurden wir freundlich empfangen. Das Ferienhaus können wir nur empfehlen.

Le gĂźte est trĂšs bien amĂ©nagĂ©, il ne manque rien. Literie trĂšs confortable, cuisine trĂšs bien Ă©quipĂ©e, trĂšs beau jardin, bref tout est parfait. Beaucoup de calme, la rue Ă  proximitĂ© n’apporte aucune nuisance. L’emplacement est idĂ©al pour visiter St Vaast, Barfleur, les musĂ©es du dĂ©barquement. Les plages Ă  proximitĂ© sont trĂšs belles . Et la communication avec les propriĂ©taires est excellente, ils sont trĂšs rĂ©actifs.

Lovely stay

We enjoyed staying at this property very much. We were able to visit the D-Day beaches, Caen and Bayeux. Damien was easy to communicate with and helpful. There was ample space for a group of 4 friends. Laundry facilities were very helpful. The grocery store was very close buy. It was an all round good experience.

Very comfortable property one of the best we have stayed in france

Very well equipped, lovely garden and plenty of parking. The bed were comfortable and it was well placed for touring the Normandy landing beaches.
