Being able to wander out to the pool or lounge on the covered porch or walk down to snorkel across the street was divine. The kitchen had all we need. The host was so welcoming and provided a welcome meal and a delightful punch on our last day. The one time we had an issue they fixed it immediately! The set up with the lovely big terrace right beside the pool was perfect for small children because it is very safe with a fence around the pool but easily accessible to the terrace. "This was our second time staying at Cathy’s beautiful home. We love it there. The hosts are so hospitable, and the property is beautiful! It is also such a good location. So close to Plage des alizés and Plage de la Porte d’Enfer which are both stunning. And the view of the waves as we drive through town always makes us smile. Close to the supermarché and lots of good restaurants. We will continue to stay here every time we visit Guadeloupe! Merci!"

"Great villa, private with hedge rows and a gate (locks and you have the key). Private parking for villa with a private gated entrance. The only downside is WiFi is slower than 3G through a phone hotspot anywhere around the villa. Being from the USA I watch TV on a computer through apps, WiFi cannot sustain streaming at all."

"The hotel is small, relatively new and built around a pleasant patio and small pool. Our balcony overlooked these. The hotel is about 2km from the closest beach and good restaurants so a car, while not essential, makes the trips more manageable."
