"The location is fantastic. Tram station is a 3 minute walk. We used the tram extensively during our four day stay in Nice, so this was very important to us. There is a HUGE Leclere Supermarket that has about all you'd need within a 10 minute walk. Parking was free and effortless. We did not eat breakfast on site, so can't vouch for the restaurant. Would stay here again for sure. "

"Well my rubbish wasn't removed by the cleaners it was simply left for me when I came back. The breakfast choices wasn't great either and the juice dispenser was dispensing apple juice from a syringe it was that slow and the option for breakfast this morning (30/06/2024) was eggs or eggs.... Seriously??.... I was hungry throughout my stay as a consequence."

"The Hotel Gounod is in the perfect location to stay in Nice. The beach is a few short blocks away, the train station is also a few blocks away in the opposite direction. Plenty of restaurants and shopping in walking distance. Old Nice is close as well. This hotel is beautiful. It is a small hotel (like a boutique hotel) but the guest rooms are very spacious, clean and nicely appointed. Loved that we could use the pool/jacuzzi and rooftop bar at the hotel next door as well!"

"I booked this hotel as it is advertised as room with balcony, even comes with a photo of how the room looks like. I was disappointed when I was assigned with a room without a balcony and a window facing the back alley as the guest "needs to specifically request for a balcony during the booking", not automatically given. Felt like a false advertisement to me. Room is very small but comfy bed. 5 mins walk from main train station. Other than that, everything else is good."

"It’s in a great location right opposite the beach. There are many great dining spaces. The transport is good and the hotel staff are fantastic, friendly and very helpful. Overall had a great stay and will be returning again. "
