"Fantastic location for young families that want to relax by the pool / pebbled beach. Lots of parking, good restaurant on site, and really friendly staff who arranged a baby cot and chair well before we checked in! Only thing is the rooms have a slightly dated decor. Very small tvs and old style coffee filter. Might benefit from a small upgrade to nespresso and slightly better entertainment system. But these are minor issues. If you have an ocean view suite, you can spend lots of happy hours on...

"I had a 7 hr layover in Athens, booked Varaba, and was delighted with the sweet homey family atmosphere. No dinner but with a menu they ordered it in for me. Met a lovely Canadian family in the open eating courtyard. Felt so well taken care of, when I was exhausted."

"Staff was excellent, friendly and helpful including the cleaning lady who tidied the room daily. I appreciated the comfortable bed, large balcony and mini fridge. I enjoyed the traditional greek style breakfast, but it was pretty basic. There is a functional elevator for the building. We never heard our neighbors in adjacent rooms but we could hear noise from outside. There was some construction when we first arrived but luckily it only lasted for 2 days. "We had a great time. Lovely staff, great buffet breakfast. Shop nextdoor. Walking distance to marina, historical sites and loads of bars/restaurants within easy reach. Huge spacious room on 2 floors with 2 separate terraces & huge comfortable bed! Great air conditioning & big fridge. Great stay, would return. "

"It was ok. I arrived late and had sent the hotel a message about 4 hours before, but they didn’t get it. I called for the shuttle but nobody answered. I took a taxi for 20 euros, arrived at the hotel a little after midnight, and the lobby was dark and door locked. I booked this hotel because it said open 24/7, knowing I was coming in on a late flight. I knocked a lot and someone woke up on the couch in the lobby and let me in. He didn't even know I had a booking, which as I said I booked 4 hrs...
