"The location is very close to the downtown just around 10 minutes drive. The owner is nice to communicate and able to fix issues quickly. The only issue was much noise from upstairs guests at the first midnight and owner helped resolved the issue quickly."

"The hotel is 15 minutes away by bus from the subway station. If you are driving the freeway is next to the hotel. The city bus that stops by the hotel takes a different fare than the subway, in case you buy a 7 day pass. "

"We ordered a room with two beds, but they didn't have any when we arrived. They upgraded us to a suite, which was really nice.The living room with a couch and two chairs and a TV, and a separate bedroom with a king bed. The problem was we wanted two beds, not a bed in a pull out couch."

"Friendly staff and clean, functional rooms. No bottled water available in room or upon request or for purchase - we were told they had run out. Breakfast opened with server advising that they were out of waffles and oats, so only options were breakfast sandwiches and tater tots. Great location by GWU."

"The best part for me was the Royal treatment from the time we pulled up we didny have to lift a finger from the exceptional vallet down to the man that grabs us ice my husband and i were celebrating our wedding anniversary and the room was beautiful and what my husband called fancy we will be going back again 5 stars"

"Minimalist type accommodations. Probably perfect for millennials. Interesting unique decor. What’s with the stuffed doll type throw pillow? Kind of creepy. Where would kids sleep? Infants & toddlers can sleep in the drawer under the bed but what about the older kids?"

"Great location- easy walking to the National Mall, Monuments, Museums and the Wharf. Breakfast at the Capital Bistro onsite was delicious and the Starbucks inside made for a quick grab and go snack option. All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Only downside was the fire alarm went off about midnight one night but thankfully we didn’t need to evacuate."
