"This must have been a very "up market" establishment originally. As a hostel it is great although the gardens are in need of some TLC but we were well looked after and everything in the kitchen and lounge area were modern, tastefully presented and welcoming. We were in Room 3 with it's own onsuite. The bed was comfy and there was plenty of room for our belongings. No problem driving into town for dinner as we didn't use the kitchen. Hope it prospers!"

"Very convenient hotel with pleasant, friendly staff. We stayed for 2 nights to attend a family function. Can recommend asking for a room facing the garden - it was so quiet considering we were on the main highway. Nice swimming pool in the pretty grounds. Basic breakfast was included in the tariff. We booked a king suite and were pleasantly surprised that the rooms were so big and comfortably furnished. However we were disappointed that the TV in the lounge area did not work on free to air...
