A comfortable well positioned chalet with amazing Eiger and valley views! Quiet location on main road, whilst still being close enough to the town centre. Next to a railway line, but that didn’t bother us :) Thanks to the hosts for having us…

My (now) husband and I eloped in Grindelwald! And I scoured a zillion properties before travelling from Canada, and I cannot express how wonderful and perfect this place was. The views from the house are unbelievable, how much space there is is amazing, the bathrooms are great (always hot water!), the kitchen, the area, the location. 10/10 for what we needed. 10 minute walk from restaurants and downtown, great parking for our rented vehicle, and very kind and effective communication. Super happy with this entire experience. Thank you!

Beautiful chalet with great views
Lovely clean and well equipped chalet for up to six adults. We had a great week of walking and eating fondue. Not too far from the village centre, about 15 mins stroll. The train line does run past the house, but that adds to the charm - they don’t go fast, but maybe not ideal if you have young children. Handy for the Grund station and Mannlichen gondola too.

Amazing Views
We stayed in Grindelwald June 2019 and we are a family of five. The house had plenty of space for all of us. The bedrooms were large and all on the second floor. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots and serving dishes. We tend to cook while on vacation and the kitchen met all of our needs. The location of the house has amazing views of Eiger but is right next to the train tracks so you do hear the train passing by throughout the day. Getting around is easy with the free bus pass and the train pass that you will need to pay for so if you plan on staying in the Jungfrau region you may not need a car. The town is a 15 minute walk however the closest bus stop is a five minute walk and the bus will take you into town. We had a wonderful time.

Wonderful trip
The house was just as advertised, the location was good for us, about a 5 minute hike to the lift and train depot, plenty of room, all we needed was there. Really liked the patio and porches. There is a train that runs directly in front of the house, but it's really quiet, shuts down at night, and I enjoyed having it roll by...
