"This is a four star property and is a very large hotel with restaurants in the hotel and right outside the door. Beautiful fireplace lobby and bar area as well as a patio outside with fire pit and view of the mountains."

"Hotel Alpenhof if a beautiful, peaceful hotel in Grendelwald. We had a suite on the top floor with a balcony and a sweeping view of the mountains and green hillsides. The room was spacious and clean, with an handy minibar in case you want to have a beer on the nice deck, and tastefully decorated in Swiss style. The restaurant offered good Swiss food and a nice breakfast buffet. Staff were very nice. It’s right up the hill from the train station, so very convenient. They will pick you up if you don’t want to walk up the hill with your luggage upon arrival. We loved this place and highly recommend it."

"Great location in the center of the city, very close to the train station and the bus terminal is just in front of the hotel. The hotal is nice and the room is spacious and clean. Highly recommended."

"We were welcomed with a drink on the beautiful balcony while they brought our bags to the room. The room was spacious and air conditioned, however; the comforter was heavy. The breakfast was wonderful. A very nice buffet with an incredible view. They even had mimosas! The spa and outdoor tub looked nice but we did not use. We would definitely stay here again. "
