There is a cabin behind this one, but no one is close on the front, so the views are wonderful and the area feels very private. The cabin itself is very spacious, with high ceilings upstairs and a lot of sleeping options. Great outdoor seating on the porch, and a charcoal grill. The town is super small, but only a short walk away and there’s a great local pub right on the water."

Amazing place. An added bonus was getting out onto the Fjord on the boat that comes with wth cottage. "Had some reservations based on past reviews but our stay was great. We had one of the water view rooms with a balcony. Nice view, clean, good amount of space. Excellent breakfast buffet. Easy parking available and walkable to shops, grocery stores, and restaurants. Would stay again if returning to Stryn. "

"Hotel was quiet. Our room was spacious and comfy. The furniture was a little dated and a lightbulb was out in the light near the door. It's a budget hotel, so very basic but clean and good for a night stay over. Only thing I can imagine needing in the room was a kettle to make coffee in the morning. It was kind of weird to check-in at the other hotel but not really a big deal to us. "

If you have a personal favorite bath soap or body wash, consider bringing that in. He is very quick and thorough in his communication, and ready to give helpful tips on airport and rental car information, grocery stores, and sights.
