Staff here are outstanding. Being greeted by Edmund when we checked in and served by Chester at the bar. Real professionals. The staff in general were very helpful and always looking to please. The facility is a bit worn and could using some refreshing but the staff make up for it. I think it’s about expectations. We did not expect a 5 star hotel and therefore felt great about things. Would definitely recommend this to friends.

We loved our stay and would definitely return in the future. The staff is amazing, the rooms are spacious with nice views from balcony. The pictures of pool didn't look that impressive so I was surprised to see a great size pool and pool bar. The only negative is that dining tends to be on slower side. But once you have right mindset and know it will be bit longer than home the experience is enjoyable.

**The Soco House in St. Lucia: A Complete Disaster - Stay Far Away!** If I could give zero stars to The Soco House, I would. My experience at this hotel was nothing short of awful, and I feel compelled to warn others about the many issues we encountered during our stay. **False Advertising at Its Finest** Do not be fooled by their slick marketing or curated social media images. The Soco House is far from the "luxury boutique" experience it claims to be. What you get is a poorly maintained property with subpar service, terrible amenities, and a long list of disappointments. **Moldy, Dirty Rooms** The rooms were disgusting. There was a pervasive moldy smell, and we even found visible mold in various places. The cleaning service is practically nonexistent—they don’t replace towels, the linens are dirty, and the rooms are left unkempt. If you want fresh towels, good luck. You’re better off bringing your own. **Not a True All-Inclusive** This is NOT a real all-inclusive resort. You can’t eat or order food whenever you want—it’s restricted to specific time windows. Even snacks are rationed by staff, so don’t think you can grab a bite when you’re hungry. Want to enjoy a drink on the beach? Forget it—they don’t allow you to take cocktails or beverages there. **Horrible Food and Limited Choices** The food was bland, repetitive, and far from enjoyable. They don’t change the menu, so you’ll be eating the same uninspired meals every day. And there’s no room service

The Soco Hotel in St. Lucia is a lovely, intimate, quaint resort. If you just want to Relax, Soco - St. Lucia is the place for you! However, if you want to explore the island there is a tour desk where the guide will find the perfect excursion for you. There are cabanas available to all for free---if you mark your place with beach towels early (before 8:30/9:00 am) You can also reserve the cabanas for a fee and get special services.---but it was not really necessary. Be aware ---it's almost 2 hours away from the airport and is NOT on the beach. The beach is across the street. Food is only available and 3/4 hour intervals---breakfast 7am-10am, lunch 12pm-2:30pm and dinner 5pm-9pm. There is NOTHING to eat in between UNLESS you purchase snacks AND there is NO eating at poolside. There is a bar at poolside and the drinks are pretty good. The poolside bartenders, especially Ms. Parks, were friendly and would engage in conversation. The dining crew: Eloise, Charlene and Stephanie(managers) were amazing! They really go out of their way to get whatever you want and to make guests feel welcome. Special shout to the hardworking server crew: Quanisha, Cleo, Devon, Misty, Lianna, Zanaya! They are the best!! Please tip them! They work hard!! The menu needs a real cultural upgrade.It seems that there is more focus on the British visitors' taste. Could really use some occasional entertainment. Maybe spotlight local artists.Will definitely go back for pure R&R and great service

Site did not show additional country tax of 6$ USD per day. Very poorly maintained site. Dirty, broken, ripped and badly stained lounge chairs/shade areas. Rooms: broken closet, mold in shower, doors not closing properly, furniture broken/badly painted/poor appearance, air conditioner leaked. Common bathroom in lobby dirty, bad toilet seats, need fresh paint, poorly kept. Food breakfast had minimal choices but otherwise very good. Staff was amazing, cordial, polite, always smiling, always a hello, and very helpful.

You will read some negative things about Soco but generally this revolves around dining it can be slow when the hotel is busy but the food is actually good and cooked fresh. Sometimes stock runs out but hey you are in the Caribbean where everything comes in by boat. If you want good dining then book Sandals.

I would hesitate to call this property a resort given other resorts I've been to. The dining and bar options end fairly early, and the property is small. It seems to cater to an older, more specific crowd. With all that being said, the food was great and the drinks were decent. Some of the staff seemed to enjoy their jobs as well. It is not likely I would not book again though.

Excellent Staff. The hotel is in need of an update. Every thing was white you can see the stains in the leather chairs and the lounge chairs.They need leather cleaner for the chairs and replace the lounge pillows There’s no entertainment provided the bartender engages with the customer's which is nice some will play games with you. Food options needs improvement they change their lunch and dinner menu every two days breakfast is always the same. All inclusive you should be able to get food around the clock and you cant. If you miss breakfast, lunch or dinner you are on your own. The bugs are outrages. theirs flys and bees around the bar, in our room we seen ants mainly in the bathroom area. The drinks were great. Excellent customer service overall. This hotel is more of an intermittent setting if you are just looking to get away and relax this is the place.

This is a very nice place across the street from the water. The room was spacious and well maintained. The pool area is nice. Meals were absolutely wonderful. The menu choices were great. The quality, presentation, and taste was excellent. The staff here are very nice and hard working. I wish I could have stayed here longer.

Very limited dining options. Only 3 entree selections per meal. Food was not good at all. Dinner is over a 930pm. No food option at the hotel after that time. Bar closes at 11pm. Resturant is open space, very hot and humid with a few ceiling fans. and you have to swat the flies away from your food constantly. Plenty of resturants within walking distance thay have great food. Water was turned off a couple of nights around 2am, we was not informed. Older crowd, not young guest friendly. If your look for any fun, stay on a resort. Funiture was old. Not outlets in the bathroom. Hotel photos make tue property look very nice.but its a lil rundown. WIll NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN
