"Lovely location and clean property. Niggles were around the owner not responding to questions about what would already be there (there were filters for the coffee machine, now there are 2 boxes! There is a car charge point nearby but no idea if we could have accessed it). We also weren’t sure if we were allowed onto the jetty but presumed we were. But a nice quiet place to stay."

"The owner of this property must use google translator as most of the messages he sent me made no sense. This then made it difficult to understand the check in process. Thank goodness the kind lady at the registration office clarified things for me. I understood that towels/tea towels would be included with the linens, but there was an extra fee for these items. Just a note for mobility challenged guests, the stairs are very steep and narrow."

"Das Ferienhaus ist sehr schön und hat alles was man braucht. Der Ort selbst hat nichts zu bieten. Zum Einkaufen und nett was essen gehen, muss man ein wenig fahren. "

They also couldn't find the key after speaking to the owner, eventually gave me the spare key but it was a bit stressful at the time. "Zuerst will ich sagen dass die Besitzerin sehr Freundlich und nett war zu uns. Leider ist die Unterkunft nicht sehr sauber und nicht gepflegt. Die Türen könnten nicht richtig geschlossen werden von Innen und von drausen musste man mit Fuss reinhauen das sie zu gehen. Wir hatten die 4-te "Haus" in der Reihe und die war fast 300 m von WC und Dusche entfernt. Horror wenn man in der Nacht aufs Klo gehen muss, und Spinnen haben bereits überall Netzt gespannt. Dusche und WC manglen ebenso an...

"Super convenient location across Leeuwarden train station. It is a small boutique style hotel. I loved the Nespresso machine and the daily capsules complimentary refill, also nice emptied mini-fridge for use and kettle. Room was large and very clean. My room had an outdoor terrace but the view are not nice as they overlook vents and tubes from the restaurant next door. Heating worked perfectly fine. "

"Overall, a bit basic but it was an okay stay for one night in the winter. Mostly just the lack of transparency, as the hotel reception charged triple the amount of the 'additional fee' than what was listed on the Expedia site when booking. Otherwise fine for what you pay - thank you!"
