Groveland Hotel Guide - Cheap Hotels in Groveland, California

"Great stay ten minutes outside of Yosemite’s pristine gates. The rooms need updating and the beds are not crazy comfortable but it does the job, especially directly facing the Merced river. The hotel needs to do a better job of keeping mattresses immaculate - the bottom sheet wasn’t fitted and there was no mattress protector in site. As a frequent traveler, this makes me nervous. The coffee option in the room is atrocious. Get Keurigs or Nespressos or a premium cafe option in the lobby so that we are not running to Starbucks or Peet’s in the Yosemite valley. Next time, i will bring my own French press because i will definitely return. "

"First time there & we absolutely loved it! We will definitely be coming back! The bartenders at the Tavern were all super friendly & hospitable & so were the servers at the restaurant. Our meals were all excellent. There wasn’t one we didn’t like. The front desk was very warm & hospitable as well. The grounds were absolutely BEAUTIFUL! We loved the pool & hot tub & the sunset deck was a perfect place to watch a gorgeous sunset. We were pleased w/everything! Thank you for such a wonderful getaway! Highly recommend!!!"

"We planned a family trip to Yosemite and couldn't have been happier with our choice to stay at the Evergreen Lodge! The cabins are nestled around the wooded grounds with plenty of privacy, the recreation room and various outdoor playgrounds were a big hit with the kids (young and old) and the food at the restaurant was delicious. The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. I would highly recommend the Evergreen Lodge to any families heading to Yosemite."

"We loved the proximity to the west gate of Yosemite. Even though a hotel is close to a gate, it’s still a long drive into the valley. That’s for any hotel around Yosemite though. We loved our stay at the lodge and was able to take hot showers, relax in the hot tub, and get a good nights sleep after our extremely long days of hiking. We would venture over to the lucky buck cafe and get breakfast before heading to the park and would grab dinner after the park. Stay here, you’ll be glad you did. "
