Staff was very helpful and helped us to book a taxi to Matera historic centre. Everything was on time and punctual. "We absolutely loved everything about our stay - the beautiful rooms, the stunning spa, the delicious and generous breakfast, and the spectacular surrounds. We felt totally spoilt for our stay. We parked about a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel, in a parking building (€1 per hour), which was handy enough to the hotel. Highly recommend!"

"Almost everything was excellent......except for the fact that it was advertised as providing free parking, and it didn’t. I had to pay for overnight parking in a public garage.....which cost almost $30 for the night. Also, Livingston’s is really a B and B, not a hotel, and, as such, was difficult to find because, even though it’s on the Main Street in Matera, there was only a small sign attached to the building to identify it. I have found that situation in several smaller Hotels.com...

"We didn’t get the bottle of wine and we forgot to ask for it. However, the hotel, the room and location was stunning. Specially the people who work at the hotel, they were wonderful! "Beautiful hotel. Doing some restoration now but not a burden in any way. Room was spacious and clean. The property is actually spread out over several nearby structures, which adds to the overall appeal. Breakfast was in a modified cave and was a very good buffet.
