This is a property that just barely opened and as such the facilities are in beautiful, pristine condition. The staff overall were all still very much learning but were well intentioned and provided excellent service at every turn. The one main restaurant open during our stay also had excellent service and food. Our only complaint worth airing here was ongoing issues with the door key system not working - no fun trekking back to the desk multiple times to get a new key…this is a basic of hotel management and it simply was not working properly our entire stay. All to say we would stay here again if in the area and I expect they will have the kinks worked out by next summer’s high season.

Absolutely loved it!!

It was a beautiful and fancy hotel. We went in November, so off season, price was inexpensive. Actually 10 days before getting to this hotel, the price dropped, hubby cancelled and rebooked. We saved $70! It’s situated in a nice and expensive neighborhood, so not much options for food and shopping ☹️ But that okay, we did Uber eats. The main reason to go to this hotel would be the views, the backyard of the hotel is the gorgeous cliffs of the coast of Portugal. Soooo beautiful! We walked along the coast into old town and enjoyed it! I docked service and staff bec we got mixed information from staff about amenities and was in the shower when I believe staff came in. Have no idea why, it was around 7 pm. Hubby had gone to get our Uber eats. Over all, I’d probably stay off season and stay longer. We stayed only one full day bec we have other cities we are getting to explore.
