"The apartment was overall very good, only let down by a poorly fitted kitchen tap, which was very wobbly but worked. We appreciated the supplied teabags, sachets of coffee, soap, towels etc. The deposit system was a bit confusing - I expected to see a £250 payment on my card to be followed by a refund, but it seems they just held the card details "in case" so I guess no charge will be made now, after over a week. The location was very convenient, only a few minutes' walk from the station, V&A,...

"Its a bit dated but relatively good for a short stay. Doors are heavy and old so they do slam (you can hear guests coming in and out, but condition of soundproofing is decent. Could do a refurbishment considering the roundabout access to the hotel is also doing so. "

"Lovely hotel, fantastic big shower, and great having 2 double beds in room for the kids. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. Lovely bar area and room. Breakast was delicious -freshy cooked and lots of choice, beautiful freshly made breads etc. So much traditional character in the hotel with eerything we needed and more."
