"We liked the lively atmosphere, and they have nicely updated the rooms from when it used to be the Pearl. The bars and restaurants on property were convenient and about average. We liked the convenience of towels next to the pool area. One suggestion though…They really need to install dehumidifiers in their rooms! My hair wouldn’t dry naturally and all the wet towels and bathing suits never dried. The bed felt damp. They make you sign an agreement to keep the temperatures in a certain range so I wasn’t able to sufficiently heat or cool the room to combat the humidity. Overall though I’d stay again. Next time I’m going to purchase and bring a dehumidifier with me. "

"The first room we were give was awful. There was construction being done to the building and our room had what seems to be an air mattress on the bed and the windows to the balcony was covered with plastic. We had no visibility to the beach and the door was sealed shut to the balcony. We returned to guest services with our concerns. We were please with the results, after we discussed our problems with our room and guest services were able to give us another room. The replacement room was much better."

"I thoroughly enjoyed my Memorial Day getaway to NOLA. Staying downtown at the New Orleans Marriott was very convenient, walking distance to Bourbon Street and Streetcar accessibility. Wonderful Hotel and ambience to boot. I'll definitely stay at this hotel upon my next visit to NOLA! Two Thumbs Up!"
