"A last minute stay we found this gem. the room was lovely with controls on the temperature, the tea and coffee provided was good quality. the room and bed were very comfortable and quiet. the pub was inviting, with regulars eating. they had good gluten free options and being just a few steps from the room very inviting. the breakfast was delicious and was a nice end to our stay. I would stay again if needing a room while in the area or close by"

"Lovely one night stay. Room was excellent. Enjoyed the piano man entertainment immensely in the Merlin bar. Nice relaxed space. Staff were friendly and helpful. Needed more bar staff however, to prevent queues. Would get your dining reservations in early if planning to have evening meal, but casual dining in Merlin bar was good. "
