7.8/10 Good! (12 reviews)
On first glance (before booking) and just skimming over the room it was nice, very modern; a beautiful place.
After the first nights stay we realised there were some issues.
Firstly, I didn’t get the email on how to enter the property and there is no allocated receptionist for the hotel. So if there was no one in the restaurant to help, I wouldn’t have been able to enter.
Secondly, the lighting in the room was very poor. Once the sun is setting you cannot do anything that requires light (eg makeup) we had our phone torches on.
Thirdly, from the first day my friend had contacted the property about the next issue via WhatsApp (to my knowledge that’s the only way to contact them) and they never replied. I also messaged them about something (I booked the hotel) and they never replied to me. You would have to physically go down to the restaurant to ask someone there if you want anything.
Fourth, from night 1 of our stay there was a leak from one of the extractor fans in the bathroom which created a puddle by the toilet and would travel to the sink and the bathroom door if you let it. We were mopping it up with towels everyday. Someone came in who I believe was maintenance, we told him about it & he said he’ll take a picture and be back, we never saw him again.
The room was never turned over. We had to ask for towels. This isn’t something I’ve ever experience at a hotel. A bnb maybe, but not a hotel.
The bed was lovely.
