Spent two nights, 3 days at this property recently while touring around at Pinnawela, Sigiriya, Dambulla and Minneriya. Great location to visit all those sites. Excellent service with a smile. Buffets were plentiful and delicious, great variety. Pool was so relaxing and lush gardens that were well kept really felt like paradise. Disappointed after Covid there is no spa/massage option as that would have been perfect. Stayed in a large room with separate room with door. 2 adults, 3 teens. Teens loved the food, pool and lush gardens. Special mention to Ravi and Felix who were very attentive to us during our stay.

Fabulous stay.

Stayed two nights and was very impressed. Greeted in reception by a Kandyan dancer which is a nice touch and a great photo opportunity. Staff on reception very welcoming and efficient. Room immaculate and very comfortable. First time in Sri Lanka seeing double glazed windows. Very peaceful. Costa and Vinod in the restaurant were extremely helpful. I gave 4/5 for eco friendliness only because plastic drinking straws are used. That really is the only improvement I can recommend. Pool is big and beautiful and pool boy very helpful. A great value independent hotel with staff who are committed to giving great service. Will definitely return.

Accogliente resort con il personale molto disponibile e professionale. È presente un ristorante self-service con cibo non molto vario ma buono. Il giardino é dotato di una bella piscina pulita, ottima per rilassarsi a fine giornata. Letti comodi e le stanze pulite. L'unica cosa da migliorare é la connessione wi-fi.

I would definitely come back.

It was really nice :) it is a high standard resort, it has everything you need: restaurant with delicious food, great service, very helpful stuff, pool, spa and a bar. The city/village - Habarana has nothing to offer in the evening, so staying here was a pleasure for us! I think is perfect for a bigger group, family with kids :)

ホスピタリティ溢れるリゾート

ホテルの設備は申し分なく、スタッフの方々も皆さん気さくで大変親切です。サファリジープを手配しましたが、1人利用にもかかわらずシェア利用の料金にしていただき、運転もうまく、近くで象を見ることができ大変楽しめました。スパを利用したのですが、それなりの料金なのにタオルが全て湿っていたのが残念です。近くにレストラン等はないので夕食付きプランがおすすめです。ビュッフェスタイルで値段のわりに十分なクオリティです。

Very nice hotel!

Very nice Hotel with friendly staff, good food and nice surrondings. The location is very good. You can stay here for several days and discover a lot of attraction ( like Sigeriya, Dumbulla, Pollunuruwa. Minnesota safaripark and more) They have also a nice driveraccomodiation for your driver.

Per visitare il triangolo culturale

Buona location anche se molto distante dal centro paese. Qui in Sri Lanka le cittadine sono molto piccole con i servizi quasi inesistenti. Ottima posizione se si vuole visitare il triangolo culturale come Sigiriya, Anuradhapura e Polonnaruwa. Discreta la cena a buffet. Menù a la carta veramente deludente . Ottima la piscina per un tuffo dopo le fatiche del giorno. Tutto sommato consigliato.

Gutes Hotel mit sehr gutem Service

Wir verbrachten zwei Tage während unserer Rundreise im Hotel. Strandtücher für den Pool wurden uns am Pool gleich vom Servicepersonal auf die Liegen gelegt. Tee und Kaffee steht mit Wasserkocher im Zimmer bereit. Am Nachmittag wurde uns ein Obstteller aufs Zimmer gestellt.

Great stay

It was at a great location. A quite big and busy hotel with lots of tour groups. Room was nice. Food was not bad. We had dinner buffets 2 nights in a row. Very friendly staff. No issue.

Lovely room with "wildlife watch" from our balcony

We were on tour so did not spend a lot of time here, and could not make the most of the facilities - fab pool - because it rained nearly the whole time. Staff were super helpful and professional

Great stay and friendly staff

We had a great stay at the Sungreen Hotel Resort. The staff was very friendly, always greeted us with a smile. Plenty to discover in the area of Habarana. The only downside would be not a lot of options for restaurants and the food at the hotel was average. We had a few afternoons of relax time by the pool and it felt like we had the hotel to ourselves which was nice and peaceful.

Nice experience, 200% satisfied

This hotel is a MUST stay. The room condition, staffs, foods are really good. It is a kind of new resort so my driver (35 years experienced) didn't know the location. But he also added this hotel is the best hotel in this HARBARANA area. I bet you will not be disappointed.

Beautiful, friendly, calm Resort. Stunning pool, long enough to swim laps. Friendly helpful staff, and comfortable rooms. We took a family room, which was great with a seperate bedroom for our daughter.

Goed hotel zeer vriendelijk personeel

Zeer vriendelijk en gastvrij personeel doen erg hun best. Bedden bij zwembad zijn niet comfortabel helaas ook niet altijd handdoeken aanwezig, ze komen ze wel brengen na vragen. Hadden familie kamer gekregen was erg fijn. Ontbijt kan iets meer variëteit in gebracht worden.
