"La maison est dans un petit village calme avec une boulangerie, une epicerie et une pharmacie. La cour est fermée et grande. La piscine est immense et magnifique et très ensoleillée. La maison est magnifique, grande, tres bien décorée avec goût, tres pratique avec une grange aménagée parfaite pour les soirées jeux en famille. Tout est pensé pour notre confort avec les lits prêts, les serviettes et les torchons. Nous sommes ravis de notre sejour et nous reviendrons."

"The cottage was a lovely place to stay. The property was very quiet and presented exactly as the listing described. We had everything we required and everything was clean and tidy. The pool area was lovely. There wasnt really anything in the village but the nearest town was only 10 or so minutes away. There was a supermarket and petrol station and a market. "The house and location were ideal as we had small children and at times group get togethers with family in the area. On the plus side, both the interior and the outdoor areas are spacious, with lots of different places to be. "We had an amazing family vacation with four generations, and this spacious and comfortable mansion was perfect for all of us. Everyone had their own space to relax, but the common areas were ideal for gathering and making memories together. The property was clean, welcoming, and well-maintained, making our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend for large family getaways!"

"The hotel was beautiful and the staff beyond helpful.. Location was perfect in a beautiful street close to the main square and walking distance to everything. But you must be aware that its a small city ad taxi service is limited... i had to walk to the hotel from the train station and also on my way back.. all the taxis.were fully booked.. 1.4 km not bad but.with a suitcase is not fun... this not the hotel's fault... but you must be aware (the same is i guess for all hotels) "

Stunning mill and spectacular location

"This was our second holiday this year at the mill and we will keep returning. Everything you need for a holiday has been thought of, beautiful mill and extensive gardens. Can highly recommend using the patio at the side of the property for meals, very relaxing with views across the river/land. You have access to use herbs/tomatoes etc from the garden which is such a lovely idea. Easy drive to food shops and literary a short walk to Château de Dampierre-sur-Boutonne which is definitely worth a visit. There is also a small shop that sells local crafts/art/honey which is such a fabulous idea to support the local people. The owner Yohann as always was very welcoming, excellent communication prior and during the stay if you require his assistance. He ensures your time at the mill is as enjoyable as possible. You won’t regret booking this gem of a property. "
