"The quiet apartment was in a great location in the historic part of town and a short walk down to the lake. I loved the views across the Harkortsee, the many birds I could watch from the big windows, and the comfortable bed for a good night's rest. Bus stops were only short walking distances away and the busses made the neighboring towns also accessible. I very much enjoyed my stay at this apartment and will choose it again for my next visit. "We really enjoyed staying in this little flat. It’s a bit out of the cities, but also convenient to both Düsseldorf and Cologne, plus smaller towns. The village of Wermelskirchen is charming and nearby. Easy stop for restaurants, groceries, etc. Everything was very comfortable, the kitchen well supplied, etc. We highly recommend this vacation home. Be aware it’s on the second floor, if you don’t want stairs. Cute and spacious once you get up there, though! "

"Brilliant location on the outskirts of Solingen, nice and close to other nearby Rhineland cities and beautiful attractions such as Schloss Burg. The house was huge with a lot to offer and very comfortable. The cleanliness was to be questioned a little as we noticed a lot of out of date food and drink items in the kitchen still in the cupboards, but aside from that the house itself was fantastic, with great communication from the owners."
