"Waiting to be picked up from the parking site (there is no other way) took at one time 10 minutes, another time it took 30 minutes. The room was supposed to have a working jacuzzi with hot a water. The hot water didn't work. Management didn't know what to do about it, told us it was out of their control and did not give us any sort of discount or voucher for a future visit. This was not our first visit to Hamat Gadar so we had expectation. We were very disappointed. "

"We arrived to find no one in Reception at 5pm, and only a number to call. Annoying after a 3 hour trip. There was no working wifi, although they said they had it, and only a cold shower. Torture. Very simple room. Two beds, nowhere to put our things - no closet, no shelving. For $200 a night that's not acceptable. "

"We stayed one night with our 3 kids. the room was renovated and nice, could use a rug, since the floor was cold. There were beds for 5 and a sofa that opens for one more if needed. Plenty of bed linens as well. Cons- no dishes in the kitchenette, and the microwave had nowhere to plug it it. we had to move it and it was heavy. Great area with lots to do. nice country club style indoor pool ( Beit Eyal) with an extra nominal fee ( 30 Shekels per person)"

"very old - need to invest in fixing many rejects --- old shower ! many broken tiles , only 1 remote for 2 TVs , and 1 remote for 2 air condition , we stayed on this place 15 yrs ago and seems like it stay in the history , location is great thing close to the sea of galilee and the swimming pool is awesome !! COVID19 impact on food -- the dining room is closed and we got BOX to the room which was very very basic without any effort to improve or getting additional items "

"We came at 6:15 pm when confirmation letter said check-in is till 7 PM. NOBODY was there, reception locked with a sign OPEN. Tried to find anybody, no luck. Booked another hotel and went there. Need our money back. El Mul must let people know that they are a kibutz, not a hotel. That makes a slight difference. Other kibutzim are stating that in their title."

"It’s a beautiful property. If you’re planning on coming in on a Saturday be prepared to not check in til 9 at night. The pool hours are very short too. Beautiful pool but hours were 10 to 5. Buffet breakfast was plentiful!! Overall it’s in a great location and right across from beach"
