"Our group had a couple of unfortunate events upon our arrival and exit were all completely smoothed over by Aaron and his team through near instant communication and attention to detail that made our stay the enjoyable and memorable experience it was. The place is 10-15 minutes from Bar Harbor that made easy access to everything. The beds were great and the kitchen had everything we needed. When you have a host willing to go above and beyond, the VRBO vacations are all the better!"

"We loved our stay at Idle Hour II. Especially all the windows from which we could take in the surroundings. Bar Harbor and Acadia was an easy 45 min drive. Beds (seemed to be the same) were not our favorite for comfort. Everything's was clean and had the amenities we needed. Having 2 camping chairs in the utility room was great - we ate our lunch on Sand Beach in comfort! We would definitely stay again. "

"We loved this place! Great location, comfortable and clean apartment. James was a lovely host. He welcomed us and gave great recommendations for things to do nearby. He even made us some delicious cookies. We hope to visit again soon and would definitely stay here again! "
