Acheron Chalet - Family and Pet Friendly

Nestled into the hillside metres away from popular walking tracks, this chalet is surrounded by a stunning mountain outlook providing you with privacy and tranquility with unobstructed views to Mt Isobel and Conical hill. A10 min walk will get you into the village where you can enjoy great restaurants, the famous Hanmer Springs Hot Springs and plenty of boutique shopping.

This home offers a warm, cosy setting with open plan living, dining and kitchen. The living area has a smart TV with Netflix, Lightbox etc (use your own account). The North facing deck is easily accessible from the living room, where you can BBQ or just sit and enjoy the peace and quiet while taking in the views. Perfect for your morning coffee or evening wine to soak in the surrounding views.

With two bedrooms, a separate toilet ,shower and bath, laundry, two heat pumps and log burner this chalet keeps you warm on those winter nights and keeps this lovely sunny home cool in the summer.. Acheron Chalet offers you the real Hanmer Springs Alpine experience.

The kitchen is extremely well equipped including a two tier oven and coffee machine.

The Chalet has unlimited WIFI, Smart TV and Netflix, DVD player, stereo and cell phone coverage.

N.B: Linen is NOT provided unless arranged in advance ( surcharge applies)

Pet friendly by arrangement with a large kennel and run
Off street parking with easy access flat driveway for two vehicles.
Ideal location for a couple to recharge or for some solitary fishing and hiking/tramping time.
A great little haven to stay and enjoy in and around Hanmer Springs!

We enjoyed our stay. The side light didn't work in my bedroom and at one point none of the lights worked in the other bedroom. We left a note suggesting they check the bulbs. We certainly left the place cleaner than when we arrived.

Such a cute cozy property! The owners have thought of everything, you are not short of anything in this home from cooking equipment to fun DVDs to watch. Super comfy beds and fabulous water pressure. I would 100% recommend staying here.

We are always so appreciative of accommodating dog-friendly, fenced accommodation. Tucked away from Hanmer near conical hill the house has a private, sunny deck and lawn. We were impressed by the comfortable bed, the two heat pumps if you wanted a cooler room over night, and the functional kitchen and other facilities. Thanks so much

PERFECT Doggy Family Stay

Our second stay within a few months, this time with our small dog. Surprisingly, it was a warmer trip than our March one and we even got to sit out on the deck. A warm and inviting log style cabin with everything you need for a great trip. Walking distance to town and lovely views from the dwelling. Will definitely stay again.

Great Location, and lovely house to stay in
We missed the bit about having to bring our own sheets and towels and only found out once we had left for our holiday, so had to pay a huge amount for heir. Otherwise great place to stay.
